Yikes! Be lodgical people. A filter can only remove 99% of contaminants from the air that actualy passes through the machine and will work over time… 1) my 3 purifiers were brand new at delivery. Some folks need to fully read what they order if they are truly getting used ones. 2) on “medium“ you can hear some low white noise but nothing too bad at all. A refrigerador is actually louder. “Low” is silent. I have no clue what people are expecting “not to hear” from a machine that moves air through a filter with a Rotary fan… ( I’m happy with the very low slight sound canceling white noise ) 3) Replacement Filter packs are easy to find and order right here on Amazon for about $45 in 4 packs or $24 in a 2 pack some do come with more oil pads too. 4) no clue why or how oils would work in a purification machine intended to remove smells and odors from a room along with the dust But I had anticipated that idea to not work well anyway and my review didn’t deduct on what shouldn’t work regardless. I bought 3 identical units and may order another unit to cover another area. Over all I can feel the air moving in my home so it’s obviously pulling air and dust through the filter. I woke up far less stuffed up in the morning and breathing feels oddly easier. I bought them to help reduce dusting and cleanning so that’s yet to be discovered because this is just week one on constant medium, I also just spring cleaned like a neurotic madman with OCD before the filters got here. Cleanning and dust Update later. Don’t believe the negative reviews on this one. The reviewers having a bad experience ordered wrong or expect a magical machine that can’t exist. This one is seriously quiet enough on medium and low. High is loud for sure but it’s moving and filtering some serious air quantity. Read the bad reviews with a grain of salt and you will see the errors in anticipation, order making and or redundant review not really on its function of air purification. One woman gave a bad review because her maid tossed out her 12 oil pads. Serious first world problem much?

Its perfect in size and quite and I love the part that I can use a oil fragrance great product

I wish it stayed on longer than 8 hours but it’s great. I can tell the difference when it’s off and on. I have a large dog that sheds so it really does work at removing the allergens and dust.

Do not hear this run at all. The night light is a low glow. Works perfect for my living room size. I do notice not as much doggie and smoke smell when I run it.

It lasted 3.5 years, I believe that’s pretty good so I am ordering a replacement one now.

Although I do own 3 of these, I gave this product 3 stars because I still see alot of dust in my apartment, especially when I shut it off. Also the sent feature doesn't really work very well. The essential oil that I put on the pads didn’t really last more than a day so I have to keep adding more. I think that if you're looking at this product because of that very feature, your probably better off just buying a small defuser, they seen to work better. Also as many others did commented on, this air purifier is pretty noisy when you run it on the medium and high levels which you almost have to inorder to feel like it's really working properly. Some of the things that I do like about this particular air purifier is that it's small so it can easily fit on a desk or night stand and it's size makes is convenient for traveling. I also liked that it came in black and it does make the air in your room feel cooler. Although I don't really use the nightlight feature, I do think it's pretty neat. I purchased two for my living room and one for my bedroom. Since the living room is slightly larger, I put one on each of my coush and one on my desser in the bedroom. But again, I dont really feel like this air purifier is actually cleaning the air, rather I think that it just blows cool air out from the top which pushes the dust in the room around because whenever I shut it off, the dust in the room seems twice as bad! Pluss there's more dust on my ceiling fans then there is inside of the air filter on this thing... I've also noticed that I'm stills having to wear a mask in my home otherwise I break out in a sneezing attack and wake up with a sore throat. But maybe I'm just expecting too much from this little guy. Either way, it does make the air in my rooms feel cooler which in my mind translates to fresher air even if the evidence says otherwise...

My mom was needing an air purifier for her small bedroom due to her sensitivity to things in the air like pollen and molds which caused her throat to become irritated. She had been using a larger air purifier which she did not like due to how it created a draft, even when at the lowest setting. This smaller unit has been a godsend! She has it on the medium setting, which is barely audible and does not create a bothersome draft. And best of all, her throat has not been bothering her!

My only regret is not getting one of these sooner! While I haven't tried other brands to compare performance, it works perfectly—eliminating odors and significantly reducing my allergy symptoms like watery eyes.

This one seems comparatively cheaper than a lot of other options available and considering how simple these are, I couldn't really ask for much more. It's basically just a fan blowing through a filter, but It's a good design and does the job well. It's nice and quiet (almost silent on the slower fan speed settings) and very simple and intuitive to use. Had it up and running within just a few minutes. It's hard to quantify how much of a difference it really makes but there is nothing about it for me to complain about so I'd say I'm satisfied.

Its quite operation is the best past. Moderately sized for a medium room with 4 stage HEPA filtration. Ideal for its price. Highly recommend for people who do not want to invest much on air purifiers for their single room. Will continue to monitor how it approves our health.
