Very good bit of kit. Bought to make a router sled, much cheaper than buying a ready made kit.

Pleasing quality, enabled my diy expert to adjust his lathe and create what he needed.

My third set of these to use as an under-desk extension drawer. Unfortunately, the ball race on one of the blocks broke and spilled its bearings all over the place after first use, but luckily retained enough to still be usable.

Perfect for home made router table and cheaper than buying a ready built one so a no brainer really

I bought 1500mm rails with 4 runners for the purpose of building a medium duty router sled capable of handling timber slabs of up to 1200 mm width. The rails are very sturdy and although I haven’t tried it out yet, I’m confident that they can carry the required span without deflection. My only criticism is that the bearings (within the runners) are a little bit coarse so the ‘action’ is expected to be a little bit juddery. The process of router planing using a sled is a little bit crude so I don’t expect to achieve a perfectly smooth result directly from this part of the finishing process. All in all, great value for money and more than adequate for my purposes!

So, to begin with I was only sent one set of rails instead of two that I had ordered. Swiftly sorted with amazon and another set sent out. Upon going to install today the mounting bolts provided sit far too proud of the framing and one has sheared upon tightening (not over tightening, it was the third one I tried fitting.) Have contacted seller and will update review upon receiving a response.

I liked these. Had an old shop built router sledge for flattening timber, it worked but it had wooden rails. I purchased these guide rails to upgrade. It certainly reduces friction. I toyed with the idea of two pairs of rails at right angles, but one pair works fine.

I haven't actually got to incorporate these into my project yet but on initial close inspection everything seems to be fine. They arrive without grease on bearings but they will get greased when commissioned. I don't forsee any issues with these. Great price too.
