Is this for diabetic cats?

Catinfo.org has some good information on feeding diabetic cats. Diabetic cats should eat foods that are less than 10% carbs. That's hard to find. The owner of that site is a vet and recommends not feeding dry at all, but while transitioning she uses Evo which is around 5% carbs. Maybe 9%. I forget now. That said, my diabetic cat was a dry food junkie. He wouldn't eat at one point so I had to find a dry that wouldn't raise his blood sugar. I ended up using Young Again Pet Foods Zero Carb dry food. It's 0.4% carbs. He had no sugar spikes while eating it. He even went into remission (no insulin) while eating. It's expensive and special order but cost pennies next to the cost of insulin.

Is it smart to start an old cat on this high a level of protein? My 14 yr old is very heathy but has been eating mainly Purina One for the last 5 yrs.

I know this question is old, but I still wanted to answer. I concur with BC- my vet said the same thing- that all of these foods claiming to be high in protein like it's a good thing is very hard on kidneys and is one of the leading causes of kidney failure. He also said once my cats get to be senior (age 7), that they should specifically be in senior food as these offer a lower level of protein so it's easier on their kidneys.

The Amazon Prime listing says it ships in 1 to 2 MONTHS. Did they mean to put DAYS? Ships in 1-2 days?

Aren't Oats a Grain? I consider them to be one and would never buy this food.

吐き戻しがなくなりました！

多頭飼いなので、今まで安いフードをあげていましたが、一匹が下部尿路の病気になり、フードを見直すことに。そこでこちらに行き着きました。今までのフードをあげていると、またすぐなりますよ、と先生に言われてしまったのですが、療養食が終わってもこちらに替えてから再発していないですし、他の吐き戻しが多かった子も減りました。また食べ散らかしも少ないです。小さいのでかみ応えがないというレビューがありましたが、うちの子たちはカリカリとてもおいしそうに食べています。
