I smelled a distinct mastic‑gum scent when I opened the bottle it wasn't odorless. The capsules aren't too large, so they go down easily. I usually feel bloated after taking tablets, but these vegetable capsules don't cause any stomach upset. I also appreciate that it's manufactured in the USA in an NSF‑certified cGMP facility that gives me extra confidence in the quality.

The substance inside this very thick, very white plastic like capsules is sweet like sugar powder . I’ve had mastic gum from Greece and it smells like pine the powder inside the capsules, I also bought the tears that you can chew on they smell and taste piney . This has a plastic smell to it and It does Not work. Save your money! This is trash. Sick of people disguising products to make money on the internet. Be real and honest , sell good quality products you’ll always have customers. I would be embarrassed to sell crap like this exposing your reputation and putting your business in risk selling products that don’t work. Make good quality products or get out of crappy business that’s my opinion

This looks and smells like mastic gum. It's finally grounding capsules though so it's a lot easier to use than regular mastic which can be hard to chew. It only took me a few days after taking this to start to feel better in general. I have used mastic on and off whenever I was noticing any increase in mouth sores or gum inflammation. It's an old-timey remedy that really shouldn't be ignored. I think of it as a tonic for the alimentary canal-for me it seems to work that way. This is made in the USA.

It's so funny that I ordered these thinking that it was gum, not capsules. The thought of having some gum to chew for my stomach issues was nice, but I can take the capsules instead. I've always had gut issues and I still do. I do notice while taking these capsules, I have lost that uneasy feeling that sometimes keeps me from going out. That is a huge plus! Size: 240 Count (Pack of 1) Have to admit that I'm not really sure what this stuff does other than to aid with various digestive disorders. That's something that I sometimes have to deal with now that my body has seen more than a few years. Things don't always work as effectively as they use to. Since taking these, it does seem as though everything is going in and out a bit easier without as many of the discomforts as sometimes goes along with all that. Guess these will now be a regular part of the supplemental side of my diet from now on.

Mastic gum has a distinct taste and smell. I opened a capsule. There was no smell and there was no a taste. I put the capsule in a glass of water. It swelled. After about 6 hours, the powder in the capsule had come out and was like gelatin and h a d not dissolved The capsule itself was broken but, had not dissolved. I would not recommend this product because it is not mastic gum. Some years ago when you ordered mastic gum, you got mastic gum. Now you only get a cornstarch like product. It's sad that this company and others are taking advantage of people who are concerned about their health. Had to choose rating to continue ,othereise i would not chose a rating.

I've been using mastic gum supplements to help with GERD issues and have been pleased with the results. These capsules are a bit easier to swallow than the hard caps I've been using, and I've not noticed any difference in performance. Each cap provides 500mg of mastic gum (with a suggested dosage of 2 caps for 1,000 mg). The cost per cap is a bit higher than some other brands, but is not out of range for a mastic gum that is packaged in the US (the label has a logo that says "packaged in the US" plus a statement that says "made in the US." I'm not sure which is the more accurate statement.) 4.5 stars.

Tastes almost mildewy...maybe it's the actual gelatin capsule. I want to taste the mastic gum! I made a mistake buying from a seller that doesn't accept returns. Yuck!
