This is a stronger battery than came with the drill.

Better To Have It And Not Need It Than ...
I bought this backup battery for my Avid Power Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor. I have had it for over a year and have not had to use the backup battery. I did, however, switch it with the other battery to make sure that it worked. It worked wonderfully. This is the best Air Compressor I have ever had, and this backup battery guarantees that I will not have to get a new Compressor for many years.

Dead after about a year but new one sent at no additional charge. Prompt solution and grateful.
Dead after about a year. Both batteries fully charged and also used car outlet. All failed to turn it on. Manufacturer did send me a new one though promptly at no additional charge. Original may have failed due to heat. Either way, was resolved and that is what counts. New one working perfectly so far.
