First, while the chair comes in parts (7 total plus a knob and 4 bolts), it took me about 15 minutes to put it together and that's only because I wasn't in a hurry! I'm a typical guy (I REALLY DISLIKE READING INSTRUCTIONS) because I view it as a sign of weakness!😂😂😂 Although, the pictures in the instruction manual are large and easy to interpret which made it easy to assemble without reading the instructions anyway. Second, the chair is quite comfortable with a very well padded cushion! It is well made and sturdy. In addition, and the primary reason I decided on acquiring this particular chair, is because it was one of the few, in the price range I was looking at, where the seat had a maximum height of approximately 34". Third, while the castors that come with the chair seem well made, I decided (in advance of even purchasing the chair) to use wheels sold by "The Office Oasis", which I also found through Amazon, because they are based on a Roller Blade style wheel which results in a remarkably smooth movement. I went with this type of wheel because I purchased the chair specifically for use in my shop which has a cement floor and is fairly large with multiple workbenches. Using these wheels allows me to move from one workbench to any other workbench quite easily and quickly! I could not be more pleased with this chair, especially considering the price and I highly recommend it!!!

This chair arrived promptly, had all of the required parts, useful instructions, and was easy to put together. It provides a great height, doesn't sink during extended usage, and can handle my weight (160lbs) just fine. The rollers are quality with easy rollability and the back support is rigid but comfortable. It looks nice too and I just hope the faux leather doesn't wear off in the future as most products of this type often suffer from.

I like this chair, got it for my garage to use at the work bench. Easy to assemble, comfortable, seems to be well made. As other reviewers have said this chair can go pretty high. Not sure why anyone would use it at that height, go figure. The lowest setting is comfortable and if I go a bit higher than that it works well for my work bench height also. The foot rest is not adjustable. Not sure why it says that on box and in the description of this chair... the foot rest does not move in any way. The chair itself moves up and down using a hydraulic cylinder, and you can adjust the back of the seat's height up or down using a knob.

I was surprised once I got the chair together and sat on it; the seat is thick, soft, well made with good back support. I purchased a work bench that is 52” tall (something like that), finding a seat to go up high enough so that I don’t have to stand all the time was a challenge, this one works. The adjustment is smooth and easy. It is rather large, be ready for that, but it is so comfortable. I would buy again.

Well built; all parts all fit perfectly. Exceptional quality. EZ to assemble (10-15 min). Comfortable Adjust easily; rolls well, balanced, rear support is fine for my back. Well done!!!!

Wheels don’t lock and it’s a smidge too high at its lowest point. I’m 5’ 7” and I have to hop up, which makes it difficult when the wheels don’t lock. I use this when applying hair color. I would give it a 10 if it went a lil lower or had easy locking/unlocking wheels.

I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: I needed a stool or chair for my workshop because my Old Craftsman Bar Stool was getting worn out. My old bar stool was uncomfortable and now that I'm older, it had become almost miserable to sit for any length of time. Because I just piddle around in my shop on small projects after work, I wasn't thinking of anything more than replacing it with another thin cushioned bar stool. But with retirement looming, I decided to get something that was comfortable also this time. SO MANY to choose form, that I spend hours finding them and reading reviews. Most all came down to the same thing...UNCOMFORTABLE. Then I found this chair. I brushed it off at first, because of the word CHAIR and I really thought just a stool would be fine for the use I give it. But then a Stool need to be picked up to move it and I found I needed to move it all the time in my small workshop. Then because I'm older, I realized a little back support would be kind of nice also. Next thing I knew, I decided to take a chance on this chair/stool ... and boy am I glad I did. Super easy to build. Actually the instructions blew me away with how clear and LARGE they were. So easy. But I have built many desk chairs over the years ,and this was less effort than does, so it should be easy for me. I love that it made of mostly METAL. Even the base is solid metal. My desk chairs are plastic bases/Legs. But wow the comfort I felt when I completed it and sat down. PERFECT height and adjustable height. The foot ring does not adjust, but sits in a fixed position. As someone who has had an adjustable Foot rest ring on chairs before, i can say they are impossible to keep in the position you want them in. They always slide down and scrape the metal tube as they go. This chair will not have that flaw, and I like where it sits at. The little back rest hits exactly where I needed it too. But the thick cushioned seat is the best part. So comfortable. My butt does not sink down and touch the plywood seat base like almost all cheaper stools. I hope it lasts as long as a desk chair, because I will feel I got an awesome bargain. I highly recommend. Good luck.

When I ordered this bar chair, I had my doubts. However, when it came, I was extremely pleased with the size, the cushioning (back and butt) and the quality of structure. The shair swivels around, rolls on the wheels (very smooth) and has excellent pneumatic height adjustment. The only thing I can think as a downside, is that short folks (under 5'3") may find it a little tough to hop onto. That's not a design flaw though.

I'm a artist and painter who likes to work on large canvases. The chair that I bought from here a month ago was too short for the task (but none the less, a great little chair). So I needed to buy this one. This was the tallest available chair in its price range. After assembling it, it was taller than I imagined because I was comparing it to a table that I was using temporarily as a tall surface to sit on. Anyways, again, super tall chair. Like others have commented, the wheels are super slick and slippery to the point of which they could pose a risk of me falling, especially from this tall height. So as pictured, I've disabled all five casters using a roll of self-adhesive bandage. I opted for this material instead of tape because it won't leave a sticky residue if I ever remove it in the future. It worked perfectly, it's grippy and it won't scratch my floor. Very happy with this chair. I can't say for certain how long the cushion material will last though, but if it degrades, I'll cover it.

I bought this chair for my wife (who has chronic arthritis related pain) She will be using it in the kitchen while cooking / washing utensils. Positives: Strong, easy to assemble, comfortable to sit. Very good product and Value for money. Negatives: 1. People with physical restrictions and those who are less than 5ft 8in tall should be very careful when using this chair, as the minimum height is 30.3 in. 2. The castor wheels do not have locks and are too fast on polished floors (when my wife tried to sit, the chair rolled away and she landed on the floor). 3. It is recommended that the castor wheels SHOULD rest on a mat or carpet to restrict the speed of wheels.
