Worked on my mill and lathe, well work well on yours as well. Battery does not like the cold. Quality good for the price. Not a Dro much better than a tape matt!,,

Digital readout works great and is very accurate. Only downfall I have with it is that the display does not have an auto shutoff if you walk away and forget to power it off.

I have a same but different X version I purchased on eBay in 1997 , it has worked perfectly since , & just used it yesterday This version I just bought came with no brackets to mount , No Bueno <<<<<<<< sent it back waiting a nuddah one for come on weekend

I've been using this family of iGaging DROs for years. Absolute accuracy has proven to meet specs (4 mils per foot) and is good enough for the work I'm doing. No, it's not a $500 glass-scale DRO... Comments regarding the display jumping are widespread on the net but I have seen it exactly once in 6 instruments deployed over 10 years. Often the root cause is electromagnetic interference, for instance from a running the sensor cable very close to the cabling of an adjustable-speed motor drive. Note about this display: It does not have an offset feature, where you enter a fixed offset value. This is useful for a machine like a planer where the table cannot be cranked to a true zero position.
