I crushed and roasted and used in Stir fry . What a reward I got with my Stir fry meal. Couldn't believe the lovely citrus flavour and numbing of the mouth feel using only a few . Satisfied . If you have been using the standard cheaper Sichuan peppercorns (with the black insides), there is nothing wrong with that. Just be advised that these SPC’s are on a whole different level. The citrus, slight numbing is followed by a delicate but pronounced tingling. I’ve realised that I only need half the amount otherwise it’s overpowering. Therefore, the container is going to last me twice as long. Also saves me time as I no longer have to pick through the seeds. Would definitely recommend.

Good quality peppercorn
Best peppercorn quality so far that I’ve tried. Fragrant, clean and we cooked it with pork strips. About 2 teaspoons for 250g of meat is good.

Feels like you have just chewed a flower spice garden. Also has some anesthetic properties. Very spicy and strong. Do not use for Italian pastas.
