HAWKINS-Futura Hard Anodized Concave Griddle Tava, 11-Inch Diameter

Love my new tava. It makes great Chapattis and is so easy to clean. Light weight and yet stay warm for longer. Highly recommend this!!!

I bought this tava for the express purpose of making roti. To be honest, it's a bit small for making roti but it does the job, I just make smaller rotis now which means making an extra one for each person eating. I normally eat two rotis but because this tava is smaller I can eat three. For making roti I would suggest getting the next size up. The material is good and the thickness is fine as it spreads the heat quite evenly. Overall, it quite good.

Good heaven duty product

It 8s of very good tawa as it is thick ,it prevents sticking and burning.

Not the best as the roti stick and doesn’t evenly distbute the heat. I now use it as a backup.

This works great. Use it very often. Wish I would have bought a slightly bigger one though, a 10 in min. Also had to use a piece of folded foil to keep it level on the flat top range because I believe these are meant for gas ranges, my mistake. Still works great and makes great tortillas, chapatis and pita breads. Takes a while to get to the right temperature but maintains it perfectly once it's there. Like it better than my cast iron.

Good buy thickness is good Dia is slightly smaller for those who make bigger Roti.

Excellent product. Go for it. It's little bit heavy in weight. Very easy to clean as it is very smooth on the surface. Soooo easy to use. Heat is same all over the tawa.
