The author, Scott Duffey, is a Program Manager on the Intune team and an expert in the field. He does an excellent job of first explaining, and then showing, how to use the complex features and capabilities of Intune in a clear and concise manner. The book is actually very easy to read.The thing I enjoyed the most is the practical approach taken throughout the book. Scott provides a lot of examples and insider tips learned from years specializing on the technology. The step-by-step examples help to illustrate the concepts discussed in a meaningful way and provide exactly what you need if you are planning an Intune related project.The book is an excellent resource for anyone looking to understand and utilize Microsoft's powerful enterprise management solution. I read it cover to cover when I bought it and have since pulled it off the shelf more than a dozen times when I want to be sure that I am doing things the way the Intune team intended.

A lot of the 'additional reading' that points to the authors blog are dead ends. It seems odd for a book published so recent.Author's links aside, the information is good to have on hand in physical format for reference.

Scott explains the platform in plain language with clear examples and explains both how and why things work the way they do.Beyond the text itself, Scott includes a lot of other resources to help you go deeper. Any cloud product is going to grow and change, so capturing it in a book that doesn't change as fast as the service is difficult. Scott arms you with the information you need, and then shares resources to continue your learning. If you are looking for a book to keep nearby while working with Intune, this is the most comprehensive book I have found.

If you want to get started with Intune, this is the book you will want to start with!! It is well thought out, structured well and will get you into the deep end of the pool without overwhelming you.Have plenty of page markers handy. You’ll be coming back to this book as it teaches you new skills every time.

I really enjoy the learning by doing writing style of these Intune books. I bought the previous edition as well. A great help staying current and getting a good foundation in Intune.

This book isn't the greatest to prepare for the test as a read along, you must be able to work the steps when reading it. I had to get other documentation to fill in areas that I wasn't quite understanding. Microsoft changed the Azure portal to ENTRA which makes some of the steps confusing since they are outdated. Thankfully, passed the exam.
