The video online is a little fast, but with some sense it's simple enough to work out using it as a reference. Using on a solid floor was a good suggestion by another. The finished result is great and feels robust on the curtain and thick liner we cut through on ours, looks great.

It does not work. The punch would not even go through the lightest curtain material and the rings were very thin and weak. Very disappointing.

This was for somebody who makes curtains, who asked me to review. First up, service and delivery were amazing. Ordered Thursday, arrived Friday, with free delivery. As another reviewer has noted, this will not work for the thickest fabrics. So be aware. One also suspects that if used only once (and found unsatisfactory) that it will show signs of use and be difficult to return. However, it is certainly functional on thinner fabrics, and thus good value. The particular comment that I was asked to make is that the instruction video is not as good as it could be. The definition is fairly low, and the demonstrator moves far too quickly, so it is not always easy to see what she is doing. It took numerous watches and several mistakes before the user managed to figure out what to do.

So easy to use. I had never made eyelet curtains before, but the video link shown with the product was so easy to follow I produced a really lovely pair of curtains in no time at all. Would highly recommend this product.

I found a useful video on Easygraphic.co.uk on how to use the eyelet punch tool kit. Had to watch it a number of times to understand how it works, and I practiced on spare material. The results are amazing! This has saved me a lot of money by being able to make the curtains myself and I have learned a new skill. My top tip: make sure you use the punch kit on a very hard flat surface...I used a breeze block covered with old fabric and this worked well (previous attempts on an old but substantial wooden table didn't turn out well). I am seriously thinking about changing all my curtains to eyelet for a modern look. I will also be uploading a diy video on YouTube to show how to use it on an actual curtain, not just a strip of fabric like other videos out there.

You really don’t need the punch and when you do it buckles the pieces I returned this ended up buying plastic ones you snap on
