I had ordered and tried a few others before purchasing this hot brush and can only say that it is exactly what I needed for my at the moment chin length layered bob! I have used a cordless Babyliss brush for years but for some inexplicable reason they stopped manufacturing the one with the larger barrel so when mine finally stopped working a replacement was needed...the Babyliss simply heated up when it was switched on and quite quickly was ready to use which is what the Wahl does, there is no complicated 'hold this down for 3 seconds' or different heat selections and it doesn't annoyingly switch itself off if a finger accidently touches a button like some do! Like so many, especially the ones with the large barrels, there is nothing 'misting' out of it into your hair that only made mine limp and defeated the object of using it entirely! I have had no problems with it being too hot for my quite fine hair although I am using a heat protecting 'volumising' mousse before drying. I would recommend this hot brush and consider it amazing value for the price! I cannot vouch for the longevity of the brush and as I don't use it every day I am hopeful that it will last me for quite a while!

Very impressed with this hot brush gets nice and hot, does a good job on taming my curly hair. Very good value for money.

I purchased this because I got my hair cut from long to a short bob. Of course after washing my hair it didn't look like how the hairdresser had done it so I started looking around for something affordable and easy to use. I thought a hot brush may be the thing to help. The brush is good but gets very hot. There is no temperature setting so it stays hot until you turn it off. Don't leave it in you hair for too long unless you like the smell of burnt hair! Its not really suitable for my hairstyle, I can get a more satisfying under curl with a hair dryer and large rounded brush. On the whole the hot brush is ok for the price I paid, easy to use with a long cable.

This is a wonderful product. Once you learn to use a hotbrush correctly it can be used to produce multiple styles. Wahl are a well known brand that delivers quality. I can not recommend this product enough. Easy to use, lightweight, gives wonderful results

Only one heat setting,on or off..red light stays on so no green light to say ready to use. Booklet is vague and says heat up will take "around 5 minutes "! So its a bit of a guessing game as to whether its ready to use or not? Does ok at creating body and wave & hair feels nice and soft afterwards (I use a little volume mousse before drying with hairdryer)

I have had a Wahl hairdryer and loved it and this htbrush is terrific. I have straightfine hair and it really gives a lasting boost to my hair. I can highly recommend

No good. Heat but does nothing for my wavy fine hair.
