These bulbs are the most straightforward Wi-Fi bulbs I have ever configured. Plug them in and they just work. Minimum effort required to set them up.

The only positive thing is brightness. I bought 4 boxes which is 16 spotlights so to pair them i need to enter each one network. So i succeed to pair two spotlights and then the others aren’t flashing anymore. Which makes me reset and I have no idea which one is paired and which one is not. Then i succeed to pair 8 spotlights, i come the next day to contibue pairing but all the previous ones are offline. This is such a headache. I only recommend them for people who need four spotlights or less.

You have to connect every single light to the wifi and if you close the switch and turn it back on you have to reconnect every light once again to the wifi

I'm a bit fussy with lighting, I have Philips Hue all the way through the house now, but I needed to get some smart lights for a garden room that was too far away to get signal to the Hue hub. I've been a fan of tp-link gear for some time, from both a networking and smart home perspective, having bought some smart switches previously (both Kasa and Tapo which all worked well, never had a problem). So I bought four of these lights and installed them the other night, first impressions were good, the lights were bright, colours seemed good. The big test was how easy they would be to control and automate with the Tapo App. I've got to say I was impressed with the way they allowed you to group the lights to turn them all on at once, or in a single automation with schedule/etc. It's not as good as using the Hue app, but it does a good job and I would recommend them. The price point is pretty good for what you get, I had all four lights setup, firmware updated and in use within about 10-15 minutes. Very happy with them.
