Tacwise 0322 A11 Hammer Tacker, Uses Type 140 / 6 - 10 mm Staples, Silver

If you are a carpet fitter then you already know all about these and use it day in day out to staple down underlay to timber but it is more useful than this for other DIY tasks. This makes a great tool for fixing roofing felt or membrane - even when working at height you can easily get a good one handed fix to staple in to the boards or rafters. I have also found it valuable for fixing steel mesh to timber before plastering/rendering. I could not see it mentioned in other reviews, but as well as Tacwise 140 staples, Arrow T50 staples are a direct fit for this - this is useful as although Tacwise are the best seller in hammer tackers a lot of people have Arrow trigger staplers (like Arrow T50p Staple Gun Tacker ) and so if you add either stapler to your tool kit you still only need to buy one type of staple. Some reviewers have said it is tricky to get the staples exactly where you want them - it is a fair point and if you really need more precision then one of the squeeze trigger staplers (like the Arrow T50p mentioned above) can do this, but this is still essentially as accurate as your own hammering... Strong, reliable tool. Recommended.

I wanted a product that can do the job with ease without jamming,simple to use,durable and comfortable. This succeeds very well. It arrived on time the package was not damage when it arrived very pleased. When this product arrived, I didn't know how to use it. So I went on YouTube to see how this works. There was a clip on the back of the handle when it springs out and you place the cartridges (Staples) and you feed it from the back to go to the front. Once everything is in place you hold the black rubber grip and start whacking like a hammer simple's! I was very pleased with this product because it did not jam on me ones. I have used a couple times small DIY jobs. This is a very well-made product and I actually would recommend this product. There are some downsides to this. As you are treating it like a hammer you might hit the same spot twice or more then you need to. Just a false of habit that you pickup. So you need to treate this product differently if you need to do things precise with it. Also you may use more staples then you need. So it may be a good idea get some more packs of staples just in case. "Just something to look out for!" I hope this helps. But the same way it takes the boxes on me arrived on time, not damaged, hasn't jammed, easy to use and well-made five out of five!

Loving my new'toy' staple hammer. It works very well (so far) just hope it lasts. Bought it for fixing underlay and also did a headboard with it. Heavy and solid and very easy to load. You do have to give it a real good whack for the staples to go in. Would recommend.
