Multivitamins with iron are generally a dicey proposition: they might be huge, or they might taste BLEH and possibly give you those unpleasant burps throughout your day. Before my bariatric surgery, I took Ritual multivitamins, and they were great. But with the added vitamin needs after my bariatric surgery, I decided on these BariMelts vitamins for their size and the absolute MADNESS of their vitamin levels... since post-bariatric patients have malabsorptive systems, we need an excess of vitamins to make sure we get the proper dosage. Read the nutrition label - 41,000% of vitamin B (!), for example. Five years post-surgery, and my bariatric labs are just perfect! (BY THE WAY: get your yearly checkup with your bariatric surgeon! You need those labs to ensure you are getting the nutrient levels you need!) This pill is easy to swallow, has absolutely no off-putting smell, and doesn't upset your stomach. No stomach upset or icky burps, even though it contains iron! Generally, an all-around excellent choice for a post-bariatric vitamin. Highly recommend!

I was looking to replace the bariatric multivitamin I previously used due to the number of capsules I had to take daily (2-4), the size of the capsules (fairly large) and the unit cost per bottle. After reading through the ingredients of BariMelts' Once Daily Bariatric Multivitamin with Iron, noting the easy to swallow single daily caplet, and the very reasonable cost for a two month supply I decided to try them out. I was not disappointed! The vitamin caplets are a fraction of the size of one of my former capsules, the smell and taste are pleasant, they don't upset my stomach, and the cost is very affordable and worth it. My daughter has now also switched to this brand. I highly recommend!

I like the fact they are one a day multi vitamin. The taste isn’t as bad as some vitamins, but it does have the vitamin yucky taste. Overall I would recommend them if your looking for a bari multivitamin that contains what all you need if you had the gastric bypass done plus it’s a two month supply. Can’t beat that for the price. Oh and they are very gentle on your stomach!

I’ve been really happy with this bariatric multivitamin. The caplets are easy to swallow, which makes it much easier to stay consistent with taking them every day. One of the best things about it is that there’s no unpleasant aftertaste, which can be hard to find with vitamins that contain iron. It’s convenient being a once-daily vitamin, and overall it’s been a simple, easy addition to my routine. Definitely a great option if you want something effective, easy to take, and without the harsh taste some vitamins leave behind.

Pleasantly surprised. I have been looking for a good complete multivitamin that won’t upset my stomach and I found it. I will continue purchasing Barimelts once a day multivitamins!!

Love that I only need one pill with the addition to calcium and my prebiotic I take. Pill does make my stomach hurt because of the IRON. Easy to swallow, smells ok, I don’t notice a taste. I do have more energy when I take them properly. You may notice it’ll make your pee bright yellow!!

I have been taking these vitamins for about 18 months now and I really like them. After gastric surgery, I had problems with some of the bariatric multivitamins because they were too big and did not sit well in my stomach. I have not had any issues with these. They also do not have that bad aftertaste like some of the other vitamins do. I now have these on a subscription so I do not have to think about reordering. I would highly recommend to anyone that has issues with the other brands that seem to be horse pills!

These are fantastic!! They don’t cause stomach issues for me and the size is moderate. (I can’t swallow large pills). I feel much more energized when I take them. Great quality for the value. Highly recommended!!
