Check expiry dates
The resin i received was 1 month past its expiry date.

Too sticky for me.
Print detail is fine but I would not buy again for 2 reasons: 1, not as rough as it leads you to believe. 2, after washing but before curing it is very tacky/sticky like the sticky side of sellotape.

Problematic
This was not fun to use after having many successful perfect prints using other ABS like resins. I thought I'd give this a try as it was on a deal price and I just wish I hadn't very frustrating. I don't know why but it either really doesn't like sticking to build plate or releasing from the film don't know which, all I know It didn't matter how much I changed first layer layer exposure times couldn't even get it to print anything. Switched to some fresh other brand ABS like resin, perfect prints again.

Problematic
This resin is absolutely unsuitable for mechanical printing. It simply does not hold it's shape. Print a flat surface and leave it for a couple days, see how much it buckles and bends when completely dry. It is also semi-transparent even at a significant thickness and can not be considered white, more of a light grey color. Very dissappointed with this one.

GratKit resin is a little more expensive than some other brands, but from my (admittedly limited) experience with it, it's worth the extra few dollars. And with the current 20% discount coupon, it's actually a bargain. This black ABS like resin produced excellent results on my Creality Halot One. Using an 8K resin in a 2K printer is overkill, but the results were quite good, and it's actually a bit easier to work with than other resins I've used. The darker resins usually require somewhat higher exposure times, but I was able to get good results with an exposure time of 4.5 seconds, which is much lower than the 7 seconds I've had to use on other black resins. A better printer would probably be able to use the recommended 2.5-3.5 second exposure time. The odor is not too bad, but you should work in a well ventilated area anyway. The prints are plenty strong and much less brittle than standard resins. I always start with a very thin test print to determine my exposure time, and then I break that print to test the strength. Not very scientific, but this resin was by far the hardest I've had to break. I've had standard resins that were so brittle the test model broke while being cleaned. With this resin I had to bend the model almost in half before it finally gave up. If you're printing small parts or models with thin areas (like swords or staffs), this resin is an excellent choice. The detail is very good and you won't have to worry so much about the small parts breaking off. One thing I did not try is the "seal breaker" on the lid. I noticed the little nub, but didn't realize what it was until I re-read the item description. So next time I'll have to see if that's really worth using. I do like the rectangular bottle, but I wish that GratKit would include the color on the narrow side of the bottle so I can read it without taking it off the shelf. That's a minor nit to pick, but I had to find something to complain about.

I was searching a resin to test my new Halot-mage 8k printer and I've see that Gratkit offer some 8k resin. I've never hear from them and there was no data base on lychee slicer. This brand seem relatively young but from what I have see products are really good quality. The ABS like resin hold really well the details and offer asome resistance. The resin is not brittle and offer good flex. The only thing that I found is for optimum results you need to keep the resin above 25ºC to improve the fluidity. I print at 30ºC with no problem. A another recommandations would be to don't be afraid to augment the base layer exposure. I'm currently at 2.5X what Gratkit recommend, otherwise the build plate adhesion was enough for big print. Overall I would definitely recommend to give it a try!
