Over the years I’ve tried maybe 20 different utility knives of various brands and sizes (9mm, 18mm and 25mm). The one I always end up coming back to, is this 18mm WorkPRO knife; it’s build quality is superb and it feels solid in your hand without being too heavy, it’s easy to deploy the blade and it stays in place with a solid click, and it’s equally easy to retract the blade back into the handle. The blade is made of SK5 steel, with a black, very smooth coating. It slices amazingly well. Replacing the blade when all used, is also very easy, following the steps depicted in the inclosed instructions. I have rarely given a utility knife this much attention, as I have with this one, but it simply deserves it. I believe my search for the ultimate utility knife has been completed, Giving it a 5-star rating is a no-brainer!

This is my favorite utility knife. I had the OLFA knife with the twist lock, but locking and unlocking the blade was a pain. This one is really simple and the blade is secure. It retracts nicely and the size is comfortable in your hand. The blades are scary sharp but they can rust so keep them dry. It's a great value.

Love the ease of use of these. Very nice for breaking down all the boxes and preparing them for the recycling bin. Use it instead of a standard exacto razor knife. Handy and can quickly snap off the blade to start with a fresh one as needed.

I didn't realize just how often I would use this box cutter when I purchased it. Since then it has become a "go-to" on a regular basis for all types of projects. I really like the retractable blade and the fact that there are many fresh blades available just a click away. And the blades are lasting a long time.

No more cheap plastic break off blade knives for me. This every day item is super high quality and a pleasure to use. The high quality metal build makes control and use much easier than those cheap options. Won't go back and bought a second one for another drawer in our home.

Perfect for work. Easy to use and durable

I purchased a couple of Workpro 18mm Retractable Utility Knives to replace my older cutters. I really like the Workpro knives much better than my previous Stanley cutters. The quality seem good, the blade is easy to move and locks in tight to your prefered length. The blades are also quick and easy to take out and replace.

So far this is proving to be awesome! I use it for breaking down shipping boxes for recycling. It operates smoothly and seems to be quality made. Very happy with my selection. It came with replacement blades too!

I was pleasantly surprised by this brand as it is not one I would normally buy. But it totally deserves a 5-star rating due to its quality. I've used about a dozen of these utility knives in the past couple of years, and this one is the best!

Handle and blade are sturdy, you feel like your holding a more expensive knife that wasnt bought on amazon.
