JETech Case for iPhone SE 2016 (Not for 2020), iPhone 5s and iPhone 5, Non-Yellowing Shockproof Phone Bumper Cover, Anti-Scratch Clear Back (Clear)

I’ve been using this JETech case on my iPhone 5s for a while now, and it’s honestly exceeded my expectations—especially for the price. The fit is spot-on for the iPhone SE (2016), iPhone 5s, and iPhone 5, with precise cutouts that make all the buttons and ports easy to access without feeling stiff or misaligned. One of my favorite things about this case is the clear back. It does a great job showing off the phone’s original design, and unlike some other clear cases I’ve tried, this one really does resist yellowing over time. It still looks clean and transparent, even after regular daily use. The bumper provides solid shock protection without adding bulk, which is perfect if you want something slim but still protective. I’ve had a couple of minor drops, and the case handled them without any issues—no damage to the phone at all. Overall, this is a great balance of style, protection, and affordability. If you’re still rocking an iPhone 5 or SE (2016), this case is a simple, reliable choice that does exactly what you want it to do.

It worked great for my phone and you can’t beat the price

I have no word as the pictures speak for themselves. I have had 2 previous cases from other brands; a very slim 0.3mm soft shipped from Hong Kong, and a bulky armor case. Both were expensive quality ones.The thin case broke after one drop. The bulky one was, well, bulky and annoying. Now this case has protection of a bulky case because of soft side bumber. It's also thin enough to keep the look of the phone in display. I have bought a JETech ballistic glass screen protector a week prior to this purchase, and man the quality was mind blowing! It's not even dectecable as you can see in the picture! This case covers my phone like a glove and can be used with a glass protector as you can see. The hard back of the case is truly scratch resistant. I am writing this review after a few weeks of use and there is absolutely no scratches on the back of the case, so far. The side bumber is made of a soft material, which I expect to (hopefully) absorb the pressure if I drop the phone. Although it is soft it holds the phone really really well and is not flimsy. The bottom of the bumber is the softest part due to the cuts for speaker, charger and headphone suckets. It has a really nice curve on the bumper which I really liked. Gives the phone a silver shine on the sides, which is nice. The bumber comes above than the screen for maybe 0.5mm. So the screen is not touched if the phone is placed with the screen down. Since I am using a ballistic glass, the case comes amost flush with the screen protector, which I don't care; it's ballistic! Cons I wish the JETech logo was black, which would go well with black writings on the back of the phone. I'm a graphic designer so I prefer the beauty of a design rather than being flashy but (whispers) ruining the design. My only concern is the color of the bumber after some use. I believe it might change yellowish soon. But it is normal for TPU clear plastic to change color. would buy again and again. I haven't searched yet but I hope they have a similar case for my iPad Air. **** Update April 8th: So it's been exactly a month since I put it on my phone. Here is what I think: 1) the clear back is literally scratch resistance (normal use) I have put it next to my keys in my pocket, used it 100 times a day and no scratches so far. 2) the soft TPU turned yellowish as I expected. Unfortunately it turns my phone lool kinda old. 3) I haven't dropped my phone so no review on that aspect. Although I'm certain it would protect the phone in that case. I would keep it as a spare but I wouldn't buy a clear soft TPU case again because of the discoloration of its material. I removed one star for that reason. It's a really good case though don't get me wrong.

It’s a nice case for the iPhone 5s.

I bought this case to replace another clear case for my iPhone 5S. The old case had become yellowed and because it was so dirty looking, I had come to resent my phone. The JETech clear case is perfect! My phone looks like new, and due to the clearness of the case, it is as if there is not case around it at all, showing the beauty of the iPhone 5S design itsself. Even though the case is clear and seemingly not there, I feel it protects my iPhone enough. I have a screen protector in the screen, but other than the screen protector and the JETech case, it is unprotected. I put the iPhone in the pocket of my pants, in my leather bag (with keys, cards, other sharp objects), without fearing that it might scratch or be damaged. The case is indeed somewhat in between the super flexible soft plastic ones and the 100% hard case ones. I thought that would be bothersome, but it is actually a good thing: it makes it easier to take the iPhone out of the case if need be, and it gives better protection than a super soft case would. Moreover, I think that if the phone were to drop, the case would not break (as happens with the 100% hard ones). Because of buying this new case, I feel a little bit as if I have just bought a new phone, and I have that great feeling of picking up my phone and being immensely happy with it. I will update this review in case the clear case starts yellowing, but I have a feeling that it will not.

This case fit perfectly on my daughter's iPhone 5S. The back and sides are crystal clear and hold the phone in securely. The button molds on the outside respond very well to button presses. We also appreciate the thin, raised inner edge of the case which allows the user to lay the phone face-down on a flat surface without any fear of scratching the screen. The case as a whole is strong, thin, and protective and doesn't any bulk to the already compact iPhone 5S. My daughter also dropped the phone several feet through metal bleachers onto a basketball court and there was absolutely no damage to the phone whatsoever! I also want to make mention of JETech's excellent customer service. The original case I bought had an issue which their customer service responded to in less than a day. We were sent a replacement soon after and we couldn't be happier. I really appreciate that they went above and beyond to help a customer out, and with quick and friendly support. I discovered this product on my on on Amazon and paid full price for it (verified purchase). I don't often leave reviews on Amazon, but I just wanted to point out that this is a terrific seller with amazing customer support. Thank you!

My mom got an iPhone SE and I purchased a few phone cases for her so she can decide which one she'd like and use. The packaging of the item was great. The case fit the iphone SE. It's nicely made. This is a TPU (flexible protective plastic - jelly like material) bumper case with a hard PC (pretty sure PC is polycarbonate). It has raised edges that will protect the phone if placed screen side down and it will also protect the phone's camera when placed back side down (from the thickness of the case). I felt that this case would be slippery due to the PC material for the back and it may not be as durable from falls or scratches. PC is hard and can crack vs TPU is flexible and there is some give. My mom agreed that the case felt slippery for her and she would drop her phone. I cannot say how durable this is, it was only placed on the phone for a short period to see the case's features. I will be returning this one. If people like the PC back I would recommend this.
