Poly Voyager 5200 UC Wireless Headset & Charging Case – This is a superb headset that has given me freedom to move around during calls. The has a dedicated dongle that prevents drop outs on calls as I have experienced with Bluetooth only headsets. The battery lasts well and charges quickly. In the case where I forgot to charge the headset, the charge cable can be connected while using the headset. The headset has been used for Teams, Cisco Webex, Slack and Zoom (to name a few) without issue. The mute and volume controls are on the headset which is useful when away from the PC on a call. I can move to any part of the house (away from the PC) and still remain connected to the call. Why I do this is for making coffee, searching for items needed during the call and for other stops needed for those longer calls. I recommend finding a copy of the older ‘Plantronics Hub’ software that makes managing calls better than the new suite in my opinion. The headset is also comfortable for me and I have used it for delivering training where I am on a call for many hours at a time.

Great headset, noise cancelling is good and the UC integration (Teams) is great. Only issue is, the integration with Teams on my Samsung phone doesn't pick up the mute/unmute from the Teams app. When muted on the app, pressing the unmute button doesn't register on the headset. So when you press the mute/unmute button on the headset, you hear "Mute off" but that just toggles the mute/unmute on the app and the Teams app is muted. And vice versa. You just have to remember to use the headset button and not the Teams app button. This doesn't happen on the Windows Teams app. Other than that, all good!

I bought this item a while ago. It’s not cheap but I was happy to pay for it with the expectation that it would meet my requirements. The design is great and the ability to connect to multiple devices is good. However, every time I use it, people complain they couldn’t hear me. I thought it was a connection issue, so I kept trying. I later stopped using it. I recently noticed someone else has complained about the same issue here, confirming the issue is with the headset. Unfortunately, the headset is now useless as I couldn’t return it anymore. I’ve had it for a few months without any meaningful use. I am now looking for another one.

Been using this headset for the past 15 years. So I'm on my 3rd one. I decided last time to go with Jabra, had the Talk 65. It looks the same as the Poly, on paper it seems slightly better, minus the UC support. However, it's not even close to the Poly. The main issue was the volume, just too quiet, and other bugs which drove me mad. This Poly 5200 UC is worth every penny. Switches so well between PC and smartphone, its clear, noise cancelling is miles better than the Jabra Talk 65 too. Would highly recommend, and get it with the charging case, you won't regret it.

These worked easily right out of the box, but they are just about OK. Decent sound. I bought them for dictation but they haven't been the best with for some reason, my voice cutting out intermittently. Voice isolation is not great as well.

This is the second one of those I have had over three years , the first I managed to mislay! I have sued the for Zoom and Team meetings for work on a laptop and also for gaming and Discord channels. Works well with everything I have tried. Mic is clear. Ear piece very comfy. I can walk around the house and keep conversations going without a break in reception. Very happy with these even at the price.

This is an amazing headset, except it doesn't last that long. I'm on to my second one....

Sorprende las prestaciones del dispositivo duración de la bateria, la comodidad de la carga, como retiene el ultimo numero que has marcado y la comodidad con la que puedes realizar una nueva rellamada, la comodidad para descolgar la llamada entratante sin tener que tocar el auricular, la comodidad para poder solicitar a traves del asistente de voz cualquier acción. En contra tiene que las almohadillas del oido no son comodas, para aquellos que deseen tener bien incrustada la misma en el oido, entiendo que eso es mejorable y debe de ser mejorado. Salvo ese inciso es perfecto, comodo y practico

Good for office use

I had used this headset as early as 2009. And I was completely happy with it. Now, after 16 yrs, I bought it again. And it's unfortunate that the experience is not as expected. Yes, it works great. Pairing is fine. Sound clarity is great. And noise cancelation is good too... I have used it in noisy places like restaurants and malls and windy places like sitting in an auto. It works great everytime. It is able to connect to multiple devices and maintains two connections at a time. Its UC so works great with Microsoft Teams. But now the bad things First one was not charging through the box. Had to get it replaced. Second one charges but charging is kinda odd... 16 yrs ago, putting headset in the box (vertical or inside) would perfectly fit and start charging. Now it needs to be adjusted a bit to align with charging pins. Next, I have kept it inside the box overnight and say, around 4 out of 10 times, it charges only up to 4 hrs of talk time. The full charge is 6 hours worth. Don't know why. Because the case is fully charged. Sometimes the headset announces that it's charged and talktime is 6 hrs. Which is full. But then it lasts may be around 5 hrs... The charging issues are never seen if I charge the headset directly and not through the box. Next, sometimes if I connect the charges to some other outlet, the box kinda shuts off... like, it doesn't show any indicator lights... dont understand why this happens... I usually have to press and hold the button on that case for some time to see some activity... then it starts charging again. This is all very weird... I think I registered it on the website and it worked. So looks like it is not counterfeit... but this inconsistent behavior is annoying...
