I bought these as part of my son’s Christmas present. They then went away and I wondered if they would survive. I’ve had two pictures this week of the forest of beautiful white mushrooms appearing and then boom! Growing like mad. It’s a fabulous way to have fresh mushrooms. Great gift. Picture show 3 days apart. Wonderful… and then you can enjoy eating them.

Good product. Well packaged with clear instructions. Probably not great value in terms of quantity of mushrooms but not too bad either. Fun to grow your own. Mushrooms some in waves. I'm on wave three and still going. Very weighty and good to eat. Easy to grow.

I am a BIG mushroom lover & use them in a lot of my meals, Because of the lockdown & the coronavirus I was having difficulty getting a supermarket delivery slot (despite being disabled & classed as at risk due to some medical problems) & as I live alone & have no help close to me this was becoming an issue for me so I decided to start growing my own produce rather than keep worrying about where or when I was next going to be able to get food from. This mushroom kit has been wonderful, It had everything with it that I needed to set it up & was really easy to do. The only additional thing I needed was a spray bottle for the water. I was able to pick my 1st home grown mushrooms, Which were a really good size after just 9 days which was fantastic & they tasted fabulous!, After the 9 days i had a total of about 15 mushrooms. Since these i've had a gap of 10 days with nothing but i'm now having more grow again. I have found that tying the top of the plastic bag loosly with an elastic bag works much better than their suggestion of just placing the cut cardboard on the top & I only spray with water every 2 days & not daily. I'm really impressed with this kit & am looking forward to having my next lot of home grown mushrooms with my dinner. I am going to be purchasing another kit so that I have more of a supply but thats only because I eat A LOT of mushrooms!.

Loved the fact you can grow mushrooms indoors as they take very little space. Easy process with clear instructions. They are beautifully white and taste great. First batch grew 6 good size mushrooms, but once picked, an abundance of too many mushrooms. All crowded together, so removed several to create space. A couple grew slightly bigger but were scarred looking and not pleasing to the eye. Then the flies on the soil became immense and nothing else grew. So disappointed. The number of edible mushrooms made the purchase £1 per mushroom. Won't buy again.

Grew well for first crop and then nothing. Do they work out very expensive

Easy to set up, not a lot to do accept water regularly. One box went to my father who had no mushrooms grow. I managed to grow and pick about 500gms before, what looked like fruit flies were attracted and it started to go mouldy! Simple set up but no real in-depth instructions for continued production. Keep in the dark, how to detract from flies, where to store etc. It says to harvest in one go but they came at different times and therefore different sizes etc, and didn’t say how small to still pick. I tried a different mushroom kit years ago and that too was not fruitful! Maybe it is down to the grower! I won’t be buying again.
