I really like these, perfect for Scrabble games! Good quality!

I.m not deaf, but my Husband was deaf en my sister and brother in law are deaf as well. We always love to play Wordgames, like Scrabble for example. But this is really an other dimension. We are well known with sign language and love to play the word games with these " letters". Although we are dutchand not all the signs are the same, it's really fun this way.

The tiles are great and the same size as standard scrabble tiles. While it does not say it in the narrative, the picture does not show a board and it does not come with a board. I assumed it did and that’s why I gave it a four because standard scrabble comes with a board and now I have to buy a board to go with it.

Our ASL group meets for Silent Lunch once a month, and sometimes we play games. I purchased two sets of these ASL letter tiles and took them to Silent Lunch. The leader of our group---a Deaf lady---instantly fell in love with them. We combined the two sets I brought with a third set of English Bananagram letters, and the twelve of us played silently for several minutes. It provided us students with good fingerspelling practice, and it put a huge smile on my Deaf friend's face. I highly recommend it. The tiles are made of good quality wood, and the hand shapes are easy to read. They also arrived very quickly.

I haven't opened and used the tiles yet, but they seem to be excellent. I purchased the tiles to use in my American Sign Language classroom. I had to buy a new Scrabble game to use the tiles with, and I am simply going to place the tiles that came with the board in a separate container.
