i wasn't sure of it, but it does do what it says. i run a camera up my chimney regularly, and it has been cleaner. glass on my stove stays cleaner longer too. be sure to clean the creosote out as it drops in little pieces and mixes with the ash. seem like a good value, and good quality.

Window on fireplace stays clean, I was initially sceptical, but this works great and keeps the window clean, can't verify if it does the same to the flume, but it obviously does something so I like it

I heat my house with a wood fireplace insert, and the creosote buildup is the bane of my existence. I used to spend so much time and elbow grease every couple days scrubbing the black gunk from the insert window until I discovered this product. After just a couple of days, my fire burned much hotter, and the creosote buildup on the glass burned itself off. I continued using as directed for the rest of the season, and I never had buildup on my glass again! This is some sort of magical sorcery, and every fireplace owner needs it in their life.

I use it in my old parlor heater and it seems to work as I haven't had any chimney fires.

Great product. Reduces creosote build up in my wood furnace. I use 1/2-1cup a week and it easily triple the time between cleaning the heat exchanger tubes. Burning seasoned birch and dry spruce.

We have used this product for 3 years now. Use to buy it locally , but that was determined by availability. Now we have a subscription , so no more worries ! It helps to keep our chimney clean !
