Good for art
Nice basic set of pastels, not the best quality I’ve ever used but certainly do the job, nice bright colours. Smudge well and also have used them to colour clay creations before baking which works well, crush them and dust onto the surface!

A little dusty but overall good quality
Having used these pastels on an art course I decided to purchase a pack for my personal use, the colour selection is limited, but with the use of blending the colours you are looking for can be produced. They are dusty, and they do break, this is not a bad thing as it enable you to have more control over how you use them. They are comfortable to hold, they look good, and they are fun to use. Blendability is good as mentioned, it is best though to use a fixative after a few layers to add more and also to hold in place the art you have created.

Good but not brilliant.
Although these have a brand name, they are not great. They are perfect value if you are dipping your toe starting out and want to practice using pastels before spending on a better quality product. I find the colours seemed very ‘dirty’ and the sticks are quite hard. I didn’t like using them at all and the colours aren’t great either.

Spot On Pastels!
These are fab. I use these to shave off colours to paint on to my polymer clay makes. Lovely colours and value for money as they have lasted me ages. Would recommend.

These were recommended to me by a fellow artist. Being my first time working in pastels, I found them to be very workable. I wish I had purchased the larger assortment, as there are not enough colours in the 36 pack. I do wish they had come in better storage packaging. They are set in a cardboard bottom with a flimsy plastic cover.
