Highly satisfied with thoughtful seller!!
I ordered these for garnish on my son's construction themed 3rd birthday cake and was a little apprehensive because of the price, but decided to go ahead because of how cool they looked. They shipped very quickly which was awesome, but when I got notification that they would be arriving today while I was away from the house for 12 hours I became alarmed because that meant this chocolate would be sitting out in the 100 degree St.Louis sun for many hours. I had resigned myself to the fact that I would arrive home to a bag of chocolate soup. To my surprise and delight when I got home I found the package in my mailbox with a sticker "keep away from heat" and when I opened the USPS envelope, I found the chocolate wrapped in butcher paper with an ice pack, all within a foil cooling pouch. Now the ice pack was melted and 25% of the chocolate was melted--but that's only because I was gone for so long. The seller really did everything they could to ensure I got my product intact and I appreciate that. Because of the sellers efforts, I will be able to salvage enough to make the perfect accents on my son's cake! P.S. I put them right in the freezer and I just pulled out some of the previously melted, deformed ones and tasted them...not bad, they taste like sixlets.

Perfect little rocks for cake decoration
I used these to create an off road jeeping cake , they are perfect. The candies themselves have quite a bit of 'chipping' off of the hard colored coating, but actually made them look more realistic than if they were perfect. A variety of sizes some larger than a peanut, some about peanut size (Not in shell peanuts) and lots of littler ones. It really helped that they were NOT consistent size/shapes as natural rocks aren't either.

Some broken, but still look good
I also got a different package than shown in the sale page, which in this day and age is stupid. It just tells me that the item is being grabbed randomly from whatever warehouse has it handy at the time of order. This doens't inspire confidence in quality. However, the candy came quickly and for the most part is intact. The flavor is very eh. Waxy 'chocolatley' candy. Not actual chocolate but the type you get for this price range. Children might not care as it's sweet and does have SOME cocoa in it, but for adults who appreciate actual chocolate, this isn't the thing. I'm mostly buying it for a friend who loves to collect rocks, so it'll do for the idea of the thing. I'm pretty pleased as the price was about $11. I wouldn't pay more for these.

Received melted chocolate!
The candy at the bottom looks great, but the whole top portion was melted upon arrival. I’m disappointed because this was just what I was looking for. Now I will be sending it back for a refund and looking elsewhere. I read the reviews before that done were melted on arrival, but I was hoping for the best. I would not recommend buying this, as you may receive the top half unusable.

My daughter loves them!
My daughter enjoys keeping a jar of these in camera shot while playing games with her friends online. She has stuck a plastic flower into the jar so it looks like a planter with gravel. Whenever she feels the urge, she suddenly grabs a hand full and eats them on camera. Her friends all think she's swallowing rocks. So far they haven't figured out it's chocolate. I may have to order another bag soon.

Chocolate River Gravel
I gave the Chocolate River Rocks 3 stars because they did not look as described or shown. When they arrived they looked nothing like the image. I chose these chocolate river rocks because the image showed candy rocks that looked pretty realistic shape and had an appealing color palette. The pieces range in size from smaller than a Jelly Belly to and almond, and have sharp, angluar edges rather than soft, rounded ones. Most of the "rocks" are rectangular with very few rounded pieces. (They look exactly like large pieces of fish aquarium gravel). The colors are not as shown either. My bag was an assortment of kelly green, turquoise, dark blue, white, dark brown and tan. (I would not have purchased chocolate candy in that color palette - not at all appetizing). The candy coating over the chocolate looks pretty good in and of itself, with a dark veining effect and helps to soften the sharpness, but it still looks like gravel. The taste of the milk chocolate is pretty good. They are fresh tasting - not stale - and made in New York. I would have given these 5 stars had their appearance and color not been so different than what was shown.

Little Rocks of Heaven
I purchased these rocks to help decorate a construction cake for my son's 4th birthday. Who knew the rocks would be the highlight of my cake masterpiece. The colors were fantastic and the taste was yummmmmmm. Per my son's request he wanted a chocolate cake. These little rocks of heaven took each bite of the cake to another level. As cake really doesn't have a texture besides soft spongey bites of sheer delight ( at least mine are like this) These little rocks adds the perfect crunch. Not too hard. Not too soft. Just right!!! Every little kid and their parents were trying to get some rocks with their piece of cake. Not to forget, the chocolate is fantastic. To me, the chocolate is milk chocolate with a hint of dark. Some might say a semi dark; I feel it's more on the milk chocolate side. These rocks are fantastic, and will now be a staple in my chocolate drawer. I'm trying to figure out other ways to use them. So far, I will be using them in trail mix instead of m&m's, cookies, and of course decorating cakes. If everything stays the same with these rocks ( manufacturing wise) you will not be disappointed.
