was looking for a compass which didn't move when drawing circles etc, the leading brand helix maths set had awful compasses, finally found this! top quality and makes drawing easier

Good, small, it does the job

Recently I have got into drawing and needed a compass in order to construct mandalas. I have looked at many compasses (both on the high street and online) but this fit the bill nicely due to the many positive reviews it has received. I reckon the reason it has had so many positive reviews is due to its brilliant design. Besides the little pencil (supplied) being able to fit into the compass snugly (the screw securing it is basic but does the job brilliantly if you are not heavy-handed with it) it can also hold a Zebra hexagonal, retractable pencil PLUS a Sakura Pigma Micron Pen, the latter being a pleasant surprise as I wasn't expecting it to fit properly. Having all this choice reinforces the fact that the Maped is well-designed/ For the price this compass is brilliant. There is a minimum tightening to do with each pencil/pen that's placed into it so this compass can be used with confidence, whatever the reason you have to draw circles!. I am well impressed with both the item itself, the price and the company that sold it on Amazon. Thanks very much!

If you ever worked with standard compasses, you know how much a pain they are. You can get stainless steel ones if durability is an issue with plastic. But if they're standard, they're not tight with the pencil at all! But you can get this compass which is durable and usable combined! Recommend to get this for school, it's portable as well.

Compasses well constructed and reasonable quality pencil delivery was about a week after promised date but I was not in a hurry so didn't upset me, bit disappointed in the colour of product supplied (pink) but that is a personal issue

Great sturdy compass was bought for use doing my maths GCSEs course as the first one I bought was not very good highly recommend as it stays where you put it does not slip or close when you don't want it to

Yes it's in the details. Right at the end. But my 14 year old so didn't appreciate the ink compass we were sent. If there are two colours please make it obvious and list so you choose from one or the other not have to look through every word. Make it obvious in the photo.

Useful and sturdy.

This is a great compass. I do wish it were a little larger in size to make it a bit easier to use, but is a great size for kids

Zirkel kam sehr schnell an. Dabei in einem kleinen Kästchen mit kleinem Bleistift. Für das Foto habe ich einen normal grossen Stift eingesetzt, der aber nicht so gut ging wie der kleine. Zirkel ist sehr klein, aber liegt gut in der Hand. Preis echt ok. Für meine Zwecke ok.
