The voice is crap and I thought that my 3 yrs old is going transform it in trash quite fast so it doesn't matter that much. Yet, few weeks later is still alive, the talking is still annoying, I'm annoyed by the fact the remote only works after you press the button behind his head, but yet... it's functional and the kid likes it. So, it's better than the first impression.

My 6 year old daughter received this as a birthday present and has spent hours playing with it. She particularly likes answering the general knowledge and maths questions but at first needed the Chinese English speaker's words to be translated into an English she (and we!) could comprehend! But now we have the hang of this, it is an enjoyable toy which you can make walk, dance and bark via the remote control unit. Please note that at first we received the wrong product, but the seller showed no hesitation in redressing the issue and the correct toy was received within a few days.

My nephew seems to enjoy this toy and it's reasonably priced

Terrible... Can't understand what it is saying half the time and then if you do get real close and try decipher its voice it has bad grammar.The dog didnt move forward instead if either forward buttons were pressed it would simply shut down.

My daugther was very happy with it and enjoyed playing with it. However when we removed it from the box the tail fell straight off before she even touched it. The problem appears to be a faulty assembly as the screw that held the tail in place hadn't purchased properly. To repair it would require taking the dog apart. So score would be higher if it werent for this. Have returned the dog and ordered a new one (no option to just request a replacement). Hopefully the next one will be properly put together. A real shame as otherwise a good toy.

Ordered pink but came back as blue

This is a fairly robust fun toy, which my little girl plays with and my little boy covets. I bought a remote control robot at the same time, which did not survive being dropped, but this is still going strong. I does talk with a Chinese accent, which some reviewers are not fond of, but I don't have a problem with it, and can even find it quite amusing at times. My children do not even notice.
