Metal Gear Solid Omnibus

For those who don't already know, this graphic novel tells the story of the games "Metal Gear Solid" and "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty". It sticks to the story well and the artwork is fantastic. I found myself gripped by the book, it's a great way to experience the story in a very different way to playing the games. It's also a great way to experience the story if you've never played the games. If you're not into games or never had the chance to play these ones, this book can hold its own and tell a fantastic story. I recommend this to all Metal Gear fans, and fans of graphic novels in general. I don't read many graphic novels, but I loved this.

This. Is. AWESOME. The illustration and art work by Ashley Wood...AMAZING. For those of you who don't know his style, go look. His art work might be tough to understand by some people but it fits so well. If you loved Yoji Shinkawa's style from the MGS covers...then you will LOVE this. The plot is for Metal Gear Solid (Shadow Moses), Metal Gear solid 2 (Tanker Incident & Big Shell Incident) It follows them pretty well and captures all key moments. This really is worth buying if you're a metal gear slut.

Not a single scratch on it, In perfect condition and well packaged, The comic book itself is incredible its just artwork on every page and the storys as it should be the same as in the games, made me want to play the games again lol, I know my boyfriend will love it because hes so into metal gear solid :)

good story line. reasonable to good artwork. I like it. For those MGS fans, I'd recommend it but that's just my personal opinion.

I purchased this with some reluctance as I am (like other reviewers) a huge Metal Gear fan. Worried it might not tell the story of the two games close enough AND differently enough to make it engaging and exciting. However it achieves just that! So much so that would say this, if Metal Gear Solid is remade (again, if you include the twin snakes) then I would recommend the developers take some inspiration/ideas from this very book. Highly recommended

The story is pretty much loyal to the original masterpiece on the PS1. But in this they go with the storyline where Meryl lives and i thought the storyline where she dies was far more impactful. Very disappointing. At least include both versions of the story. 3/5

Came in immaculate condition - Was bought as a gift. Great for any Metal Gear Fan - Well printed and really good quality.

this is probably the best comic i have ever read ! i am a massive MGS fan and to own this is just brilliant, it gives you (in comic style from the amazing artist Ashley wood), the old MGS game for PS1 and MGS2 sons of liberty, for PS2 , an absolute amazing buy a must for any mgs fans .... get it quick before there's none left

What a deal!! AMAZING ART, killer MGS 1- /2 story. Rad characters etc. all in a compact book you’ll love! I happily bought this even though I own all the single issues!

Very good read and on point. If you loved the games and need a little more in depth story that follows mgs 1-2 you need this in your life.

I bought it for a present and I was extremely surprised when it cames. Huge volume, practical format and stunning draws. It's a must have for all the MGS' fans

Un poil plus cher que la version française mais avec 2x plus de contenu. Anglais facile à comprendre, dessin très joli même si certains paraissent moins soigné que d'autre. Un manière original de vivre ou revivre les 2 premiers metal gear solid.
