Nirvana Rose By Elizabeth And James Eau De Parfum Rollerball 0.34 Oz Mini

I absolutely love this fragrance!! This is one sexy perfume.

I bought Nirvana Rose and agree that in recent months this seller's rollerball version is weak and smells like a diluted version. I have a rollerball version that I bought two to three years ago (same seller) that is much more potent and truly special scent. I've been looking for a dupe as I can no longer find the original scent.

When this perfume first came out my aunt bought it for her wedding. She gave all of us a spritz, and I loved it dearly then. Being 17 at the time, I wasn't willing to shell out the cash for a bottle. Soon after I became very scent sensitive and couldn't wear perfume. After having a baby, something must have changed because I found that I am able to wear fragrances now. Almost 9 years have passed since I first smelled this perfume, and I never forgot about it! I ordered this rollerball to test it out again, and it was like meeting my lost love at long last. It's Morticia Addams in her rose Garden. It's Christine Daae if she chose to embrace the Phantom. It's Lestat de Lioncourt and Louie de Pointe du Lac. It isnt your grandmother's perfume, nor your mother's sweet rose garden. It's a wild blood red rose patch, thorns and all on a gloomy day, the fertile soil damp and just as fragrant. It's dark, it's elegant, it's sophisticated, it's an intimate embrace. It's conveniently sized for you purse also! I am definitely purchasing a full sized bottle while this is still somewhat available. The most heinous crime is that this scent has been discontinued. Now as to actually using it. The rollerball is a pain to use. It took me quite a few swipes to actually get any of the perfume onto my skin. For this fragrance, however, it's worth it. As far as longevity I can still catch wiff's of it hours later, but it isn't overbearing. I have found myself sniffing my wrists periodically to see how it's faring, as I haven't been able to detect it. At other times just the movement of my clothes pushes the scent up to me, and I don't have to try and find it. After first applying it my husband said he could smell it from about 3 feet away.

I consider this a great dupe for Maison Margiela’s Replica of By the Fireplace. It’s got the smoky depth that By the Fireplace has and layered by BBW’s Vanilla Romance it’s the perfect balance of smoky, bourbon, vanilla mature depth By the Fireplace offers. Longevity isn’t as long as By the Fireplace but I’m comparing it to the roll-on Nirvana Bourbon versus By the Fireplace spray, and the BBW Vanilla Romance would help if I had the lotion and shower gel to help add layered depth. I will definitely buy this as a perfume along with the BBW Vanilla Romance line to have my By the Fireplace dupe this holiday season!

I found out about this perfume by ordering one of the sample sets from this site. I had been using the sample and figured, just buy it! I love a roller perfume. You can control how much you use and don't waste it spraying it into the air. I get a lot of compliments on this perfume!

I adore perfume. I will appreciate the complexities or simplicity of a well done fragrance but this one is a no. It smells like pencil shavings and nothing else.

I should have listened to that other reviewer who said this perfume is totally different. I still have the old rollerball perfume and still use it but it's about out now and it was delicious, spicy, with vanilla. This one here is totally different and smells like whiskey. You'll smell like you've just left a bar. It would be great for a man as it actually doesn't smell bad, but it just is not for a woman at all, at least not for me as I loved my old one so much. It was sweet and smelled more like vanilla or something and didn't have a whiskey smell to it. I knew something was wrong when I saw the perfume's packaging. It was brown instead of black but did say "Rose" on the brown one. Which must be a factory flaw. This perfume must be their "Bourbon" scent. The seller either unknowingly or knowingly sells factory defects. And if you are unlucky like me, you'll end up with their whiskey-smelling perfume. The seller should open every perfume and smell it and then sell the correct scent to people. Would have never bought the "Bourbon" scent.
