For some reason we seem to get through zesters. This one feels very good quality and particularly like the slider on the back to make it easier to extract the zest

Mainly use for grating parmesan and is super easy and smooth to use. The bit at the back is great for getting all the gratings out, especially when zesting. Although it is removable which is great for cleaning but iy could be easily lost as is small! Bought one for my grandmother too, she loves it!

Like all Joseph Joseph products this looks good and seems well made. It works extremely well as a zester but the addition of the sliding wiper means you really do get all of the zest where you want it. Its nice touch as is the shield for the sharp side (you can reverse this to collect the zest if you wish).

Brilliant

I brought this grater, solely for zesting lemons for my homemade curd. It is lightweight and takes up minimal space to store. Having the cleaning blade, makes it much easier when clearing the holes, post usage too.

Use it quite a lot - from citrus to garlic and chocolate; works well; clean it by hand or in the dishwasher; use sometimes the multifunction (the scraper on the back of the grater) but mostly use my hand (old habits die hard). Overall, good purchase, don't feel the need to buy another one.
