Birkenstock Gizeh, Women's Sandals

I had to change the first pair as I had inadvertantly ordered the narrow pair, this was no problem. It would have been 100% service if the company would let you know once the item had been sent out as aposed to having to check to see if my return had arrived and the new pair sent out. They communicated immediately I contacted them and I would have no problem at all buying again from this company infact am planning to purchase a second pair. For your information Birkenstocks have a "footprint" on the sole of the shoe. if the footprint is solid this means the shoe is narrow fit, if it is just the outline this means it is wide fit. There must be a way of telling in the code but I don't know how. The Birkenstocks are super comfortable. I love the raised arch area which is great if you suffer from flat feet and have problems with your plano facia (think that is how you spell it) is sore. They hold your foot well and for me stop alot of pain. I like the toe post style as it prevents your foot from having to overgrip when you walk.

I love Birkenstock sandals and wanted to surprise my sister-in-law with a pair when she arrived from Australia. She has always been a size 6 but when she put these on they were huge! Happily they fit my daughter perfectly (she has bigger feet) but when we took my sister-in-law to a shop to try the same style on she turned out to be a size 4 in these, other than that cannot fault to quality of these sandals..... and so comfortable!

Birkenstocks are always relaible and these are no exception. The arrived quickly and I'm really pleased with the colour. They have a slight shimmer without being too shiny and will go well with lots of outfits. I find this style particularly comfortable, they stay on my feet well and my last pair have lasted for 3 years and I'm sure would keep going - I just fancied a new colour! True to size, the regular fitting is slightly roomy for me and I think my feet are about average width so if you do have narrow feet, I'd advise going for the narrower fit.

I find Birkenstock Gizeh the most comfortable sandals for all day wear, and I bought these to replace a pair of plain white leather ones that had finally worn out. I chose these because although they're not pure white, they're more interesting looking and still good to wear with predominantly white clothing. The sandals have pure white toe posts and soles, and the Birkenstock lettering, buckles and toe post buttons are gold coloured. The foot beds are leather lined but I don't think the uppers are leather. They are smooth, glossy and off-white and the snake skin effect design shimmers with pale pink, peachy and very pale green tones that are subtle and very pretty. The over all appearance is still that they're a white sandal, but they're lovely and I'd recommend

I have had birkenstocks before and this one doesn't disappoint. Lovely turquoise colour and arrived quickly. Good value for money as well. However the reason it has dropped a star is because of the ridiculous sizing. I have size 8 feet - this is an european 42. There is a trend over the last few years to re-size an 8 as a 41 so look out for this as you may need to go up a size. Be careful though because these birkenstocks are small - I had to order a size 43 (10?) and unless my tootsies have grown - unlikely as I am over 50 -.this is a bit of a pain as the choice decreases This only seems to apply to the womens range - my son wears them and his normal size fits fine.

Ordered these and when they arrived it appeared they were the narrow fit, but this was not advised on the advert. I discovered on the internet that the way you tell their width is the number at the end: if it ends in 3 it is narrow fir, if it ends in 1 it is regular fit. I ordered another pair in regular, for size, and found that narrow fit was suitable, That said, the colour of these is perfect, a pearly colour, rather than white. The alternative pair I ordered was plain white, which looked cheap, so I was extremely happy with the pearl colour and have returned the white. Ordered with Prime and they arrived next day. Happy with purchase.

I love these Birkenstock! Very well made and comfortable to wear, no rubbing between toes. Footbed shaped perfectly for my feet. Look great worn with a gold anklet !

Absolutely LOVE them!

This is my first pair of Birks and I get the obsession. I almost gave up during the "break in" phase though because the blisters were unreal. Now I'm so glad I persisted! They're so comfortable and cute.

I love the style for these shoes, but I didn't realize just how iridescent it was. I had hoped to exchange them until I realized that the seller was in the UK. The shipping costs associated with the exchange made me keep them.

Premiere paire de Birkenstock et surement pas la derniere... Le confort est total! Concernant la pointure j'ai suivi l'avis de certains acheteurs, j'ai pris une taille en dessous de ma pointure habituelle. Le 38 semble donc bien adapté à mon pied mais pas de comparaison possible réelle avec le 39....Alors! je suis trés satisfaite de mon achat
