Always trust Raphael
They come with fine points, never had to fix a brush! Excellent for painting miniatures and the hobby in general. As long as you use brush soap after a session, they hold up for years.

Fantastic
Fantastic little brush.

Great paintbrush, needs a bristle protector.
Brilliant paintbrush for miniature painters, only slight qualm is that it didn't come with a tube to protect the bristles while in transport, otherwise I'd have given it 5*.

Perfect for fine detail
Kolinsky sable brushes are the best thing out there and Raphael are among the best of the best. Having used cheap brushes for most of my life I splashed out on a few sable ones and they are fantastic, they hold the paint, they hold their point, but they do take a bit of looking after, always clean after use, don't use for metallics or contrast paints. The 3/0 is very small and holds it's point so probably won't get a lot of use if you are using a 1 or 2 sable brush with a good point but is nice to have in your arsenal for those times you do need it.

Dreadful quality brush
After using the brush once, the tip is frayed and no longer holds a point. I expected decent quality given the price of the brush, but this is awful. I’ve got other brushes I’ve used for years that look better than this NEW one

Initially fantastic, but quality dropped away quickly
When this brush arrived I was very pleased with the quality. Fantastic point, and it held a great amount of paint for the size (3/0). However, after three weeks of use the brush degraded in quality, and it is now all but unusable. This is despite using brush cleaner and restorer. I'd recommend for light use, but find a cheaper alternative as a regular use brush.

Really great brush- these are the only ones I use for ...
Really great brush- these are the only ones I use for inking nowadays since nothing else seems to be able to hold a decent point!

2 of the 3 brushes were ok but the 2/0 size splits in half. Tried brush soap, brush repair gel and nothing. Pos.. Way too much money for these brushes to be doing that. Are these rip offs rebranded? Or are Raphael all hype and nothing else.. I'll stick to my green stuff world ones thanks

These are great brushes no matter the size you get. I personally use them for ink, because I brush ink a lot of art pieces, but they're also good for paint, mostly acrylic. I haven't tried them with oils, but I assume they work wonderfully for that as well. This 3/0 is for smaller lines or doing mid size details. If you need to put more ink (or paint) at once, I would recommend the 4/0 instead. I've tried a bunch of other brushes over the years, but these Raphael, Kolinsky brushes are the ones I keep coming back to.
