It's totally fine
I was slightly hesitant after reading negative reviews but thought I'd give it a go for the money. So far, I have no lumps or weird plastic residue that people complain about, it didn't open up in transit or have loads of powder in the box, and the flavour is okay. It's actually pretty bland in flavour and not very chocolatey which for me is okay. I tend to blend it with some cottage cheese and a banana or something, or add it to foods such as yoghurt. If it was really sweet or chocolatey I think it would bother me for this reason. The main thing I've noticed between this and the Applied Nutrition stuff I had before is I need to add a tiny bit of honey to the things I use it in. I'm sure it's pretty brutal shaken up with milk or water as a pre or post workout shake but I can't comment on that. The only thing I'd say in response to that is NO workout shake is genuinely nice, you hold your nose and chug it down. If you want nice chocolate flavour, eat some chocolate! It's amazing value for money so I think it's worth it.

Ideal for me
Read the reviews and made my decision. Plenty said it wasn’t very sweet which is correct but that suited my tastes. You could always add something to increase sweetness but can’t really take away. It mixes ok for me and I sometimes load it with some raspberry’s which does increase the sweetness and also some macha powder. For me it’s great value for money and suits my needs.

Overall good value
Only been using it for a couple of days. The taste isn’t the best, it’s not awful but not great, it doesn’t mix very well with my shaker, ends up still pretty lumpy. It’s sits quite heavy in your stomach. However when you take in to consideration how much you get for the price overall it will do the job and I’ll live with it

One for the dog.
Had numerous powders but this one was recommended due to the price. Tastes like what I imagine wet newspapers to taste of...which isn't normally a problem after a workout. I have always had one scoop of powder in 400ml of water which has never been a problem. This just congeals into an undrinkable gloop. Recommend it with a spoon rather than out a shaker. Maybe if you mixed it with milk it would slightly improve things. But not for me. Giving the whole tub away, no matter how much I shake it it didn't improve. Disappointed.

Decent taste.
Had the Chocolate this time as it was on offer and thus a lot cheaper than the Chocolate Peanut Butter which I had previously. I preferred the taste of the C P Butter but this chocolate isn't bad. I would just about rate the taste as chocolatey. As regards mixing, it doesn't seem to be as good as the CPB, just a tiny amount of 'lumps', but not bad really. Would buy again if cheaper than the cpb. I've had a few of these 'buckets' but this is the first i've had with the lid taped on to avoid spillage.

Price good - comes at the expense of taste
Purchased the chocolate powder. Price is good, taste is a bit naff and texture a bit worse.

Flavour - Not an Issue
Not sure if it's a flavour related thing, but the chocolate is certainly palatable, could be stronger in taste, but certainly not unpleasant, I have 2 scoops in 500ml, my shaker has one of those wire ball things and after 30 second shaking, it's all but the odd smallest piece, mixed. Will buy again and certainly excellent value for money.

Value.
This is a massive help in my training as i am on 180g of protein a day. FYI, the difference in bcaa between whey and soy protein is about 5%. So i would say not much difference in real results.
