Gomtaro 10230 Large Teeth Silky Pruning Saw - Black

This is my first replacement blade after about 8 years. It is fantastic at cutting branches easy 4-6”. Use for things I collect for the log 🪵 burner. A good investment.

I thoroughly reviewed the range of saws that were out there, looking for a top quality product. I'd never heard of Silky, but the experts were lavish in their praise of the company. They were not wrong. You can't compare this saw with the sort of thing you find in the DIY stores - this is on a different level. It actually does the job with the minimum of effort, making pruning a pleasure. Can't recommend it highly enough - expensive, but worth every penny.

Sharp as ………. Great blade that replaced previous one. Pity it took sooooo loonnnngggggggg for delivery but that’s what happens when Evri is the courier!

After almost a year of use, it is still razor sharp. Cuts super fast, even better two handed.

Really good pruning saw. Concerned initially that is wasn't big enough, but it's perfect. Cuts through much thicker branches than you'd expect.

This is one mean saw. Throw away all your other wood saws, bow or otherwise, and try this one. The Japanese have come up with a fiendishly clever product that does what it says on the tin. The only caveat is that you should have a firm grip on both saw and the trunk/branch/baulk from which you are sawing off the piece that you want to remove - and wear heavy gloves ! Its so sharp that even a slight touch from the double blades will cut you. Can't recommend it highly enough.

this is my second Silky saw, these are really the best garden saw available, they last for years, retain their sharpness and although comparatively expensive fully justify the small extra pricing, ultimately good value.

I buy these and put my own grips on a lot cheaper than buying the saw

林業の現場でシルキー愛用してます。 折り畳みの鋸も使っていましたが、折り畳む動作がめんどくさくなり、替え刃のバリエーションの多いゴム太郎にしてみました。 現場で使ってみて240mmは長すぎず短すぎず、片手で素早く抜き差しできるので作業のロスを少なくできました。 プロ剪定のノコ刃も使ってみるとすごく便利で良いです。用途によると思いますが、ゴム太郎オススメです。

I love this saw. I use it when pruning my apple trees and it works perfectly. I wish they had not discontinued this model.

As all Silky saws this saw is excellent! cuts dry and green wood fast,here in Alaska most of our wood is spruce or birch. this saw without the plastic handle weighs 3.4 ounces which is very light weight for the amount of work that can be done with it

初めは近所のホームセンターで購入でした。私の不注意で折ってしまいましたがその切れ味が忘れられず・・・しかし購入したホームセンターに置いてない、他の商品を購入したが今一つ。そんな時にamazonで見つけてポチってしまいました(笑)折れた物も竹に縛り付け高枝切として活躍中です！

販売中止となった刃渡り３３０ミリの在庫品を購入。 ブレードに適度な厚みと粘りがあり、太さ10センチの孟宗竹もサクサクきれます。 竹の年齢にもよると思いますが、一引きで半分ほどまで切れます。 唯一の欠点は、刃の目の根本に食い込んだ竹の繊維が取れないこと。 クリーナーを使ってもブラシを使っても、エアーで拭いても取れません。 清掃用の専用ブラシなどがあれば良いと思いました。
