It actually works! Was amazed after applying it and walking away for a while, to return and surprise...the glass was clear. No spots or smears. I used a dry cloth after the original application rather than a damp cloth as I didn't find that worked so well. A few days later and it is still working. It does say that it lasts up to 3 months. If it does, that will be amazing. So...very pleased so far.

Great stuff this, my only criticism is the smell which is quite powerful when applying so be sure to wear a mask or use with the window open

Had a new corner shower fitted & wanted to keep it looking new, crystal clear & spotless from the get go so I was excited to try this shower protector. Followed the instructions to the letter & applied the product really easily to shower wall panels, shower + rail & shower doors. Quite an overpowering pungent chemical smell but wasn’t fazed by that and just opened the windows. Used lots of clean dry microfibre cloths to start buffing it off as instructed. The semi-matte shower wall panels seemed to buff up fine. Bit more elbow grease to get a streak free shine on the chrome shower & rail but no problem. Then I turned my attention to the shower screen. As it’s a curved corner shower there was a lot of glass to buff. I was not deterred by this and I spent AGES giving it a REALLY thorough buff on both sides of the glass. Pretty labour intensive but that’s fine, I thought, it’s going to keep it looking new & save time & elbow grease in the long run. To my dismay, a cloudy haze remained on my previously crystal clear clean new shower screen!!!! I have tried to show some of it on the photos but difficult to capture how it actually looked. So I got more clean dry microfibre cloths & buffed hard & buffed & buffed…. well you get the idea! Finally got rid of the cloudy haze on the glass but boy it took an eternity and a huge amount of elbow grease. I was shattered. I really hope it does last the 3 months it claims to because I feel like I had done 3 months worth of buffing in this one session! I have tried a few other products from this manufacturer and have been pretty impressed with them. Will the excessive amount of effort applying this shower protector be worth it? Time will tell I guess and I will update my review in a few weeks. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to make people aware so that they were prepared for the task. I was not! Edit: So I’m adding this a few weeks later. I think the product did help a bit as the water sort of beaded up on the surfaces. Not sure it’s made an extreme difference though. I’ll probably use it again on the shower panels and chrome shower rail etc as I have quite a lot left in the bottle and it didn’t take too long to do those. I did use it on the mirrors and enamel sink in the bathroom too. I’m not sure if I’ll spend the long amount of time needed to buff it off the glass shower doors again though. Might be easier just to give them a good clean every week

likes: works really well. removes all smudges from my bath / shower glass, also makes the shower very shiny cons: preparing the surface before application is quite tedious, then the solution has to be reapplied a few times to gget rid of all the smudges. the solution is not thick at all so you have to be careful when you put some in a rag otherwise you will end up putting too much on. also has a strong odour (but what do you expect from strong cleaning solutions) but you have to take a deep breath in when applying it on surfaces and not breathe in again until you are finished-- masks do not help aside from these, I still am happy with the end result, which lasts for about 1.5-2 weeks before needing reapplication

My shower glass was in need of a good clean to remove limescale and I thought I would try Shower Shield to protect the glass afterwards (in the past I have used Daryl Protector which is a great product but very expensive). The results using Shower Shield were very good. It is easy to apply and after it dries and you give it a quick polish the glass looks brand new. Water then beads of the glass surface (and off the tiles, too) so very little cleaning is then required; just a quick wipe. Can't say how long this will last before it needs recoating, it's been about three weeks now and is still working. However, the 250ml bottle will do many applications of the average shower.
