Jecqbor 10lbs Shredded Memory Foam Filling for Bean Bag Chair, Premium Beanbag Stuffing High Density Memory Foam Refill

For reference I purchased the 5 pound bag. Posted photos of how it arrived and then how I separated the bits of foam and it fluffed up in less then an hour. I experienced zero issues, definitely has a light chem smell but you have to get up close and sniff to detect it, it was not something I could smell otherwise. I first separated all the pieces and put half in a bag and the other half in a box to give the foam room to expand. I did a demo showing how it fluffs back up after compressing it in a fist motion. I purchased this to add to batting to fluff up the padding on my chase lounge sort of an amateur DIY upholstery project.

Foam goes a long way. Picture of the unopened package and after it was open. Foam filled up a 13 gallon trash bag. It does have a chemical smell to it so let it sit for a couple of days before using.

Bought these to fill up bean bags that had become flat. I had my husband hold open the bean bag while I unzipped it, then I put the entire unopened bag inside the bean bag. Then I cut open the bag and let the foam pieces fall into the ben bag. It worked great. As soon as the air hit the foam it started to expand. We zipped up the bag and it filled in nicely. Cheaper than buying new bags and the foam pieces are more durable than the styrofoam beans.

I bought two 10 lb packages of this and for some reason the second 10lb box had a strange lobster like smell that he noticed when he opened it and then I smelled it too when I came into the room. It is a good value for the money. But we just found it weird that one box had that off smell. After we stuffed his jujitsu dummy we couldn't smell it any more but thought it was worth mentioning. Other than that it seems to be working great for the reason we purchased it for.

Fluffed up super fast, no smell, super soft. I used 10lb to refill 2 big jo bean bag chairs that were about half full. I could have used more though so if you aren't sure I would go with the larger portion.

Comes very tightly vacuum sealed in 2-5lb packages. When I opened The package it was so tight I had To place the whole brick inside the beanbag and leave over night. By morning it had expanded and I was Able to fluff the beanbag by shaking/throwing around. The foam is comfortable but adds some good weight to the bean bag verses the little foam beads.

Wish I could return this but of course I already opened it. It’s the only way to find out it’s not memory foam. There may be nuts in there. Those bits are sticky, discolored and questionable. I assume discarded or donated and now being sold for 40 bulks for ten pounds. At 4 bulks per pound of garbage that’s not bad at all for the seller. Unfortunately I’m an honest person who won’t sell garbage for a profit so that means I just lost my cash and can imagine how many other people have that don’t take time to write a review as I often don’t. But this is really irritating and I rely on reviews myself so I’m writing one to help protect others from the experience I just had. I didn’t want to spend 1300.00 on the beanbag I wanted so I opten to buy the liner, filling and exterior I wanted at half the price. I’m glad I didn’t buy all the filler at once. I’m beginning to realize it would be cheaper to buy a small mattress and cut it into smaller pieces myself or hire someone to do it. I’m so frustrated w the cheap trash that’s being sold at these ridiculous prices. At the very least be honest about what we’re being sold.

I bought the stuffing for some foot pillows for me and my cats. It’s OK, but it smells bad so you’re gonna have to air it out for a while. I recommend putting it in a large garbage bag because it expands and otherwise you’re gonna have a little foam pieces all over the place. Unfortunately, it weighs a lot more than those beads which also spill all over the place so now the pillows are heavier for me to pick up when I have to vacuum my cats seem to like them now, though although at first, they would not sit on them for quite a while once they were full.

Foam puffed up to expectations and was pleased with the quality of pieces. No hard chunks like others I’ve gotten from other sellers in the past. Definitely recommend.

I bought 2 bags to fill a U-shaped pregnancy pillow so that it looked like the pictures (because we all know they never do lol) and I wanted something that was going to be soft, but dense and supportive. I have chronic illness and spend a lot of time in bed, so it was important to choose the right material. When I got the bags, they were compressed very well and came in thick plastic bags. As soon as I opened them, they started puffing up. They did have a VERY strong chemical smell, so I used the large Amazon box and just dumped both bags in the box and let them air out/puff up for 2 days, stirring and separating them every 6-12 hours or so. They were quite perfect after letting them expand and air out, although admittedly still smelled a little bit. Two bags were the perfect amount to fill a pregnancy pillow, and now it looks and feels like a luxury one you'd pay $200+ for. It has significantly improved my quality of life when I am sick, and I can't put a price on that. Thank you!

I’ve read there is an odor and yes there is a bit of one for sure. To tear the sponge apart from it being compacted is hard. However! If you break it up a bit a throw it in the dryer on air fluff with a bounty freshener, it’s perfect!

Within an hour of opening one of the package, it was ready to be used! See a sealed package next to the open pack. I did manually pull it appart as all the pieces were stuck together. It does have a bit of a plasticky smell but that's normal with memory foam when it first airs out. The smell goes away.
