Very nice. Like the case that comes with it. First experience with android but no trouble catching on to it. No instructions on how to install the battery but wasn't difficult to figure it out. Screen is bright and easy to read stylus works great too.

Holy God, is this thing a tank. I was pleasantly surprised to see how heavy this tablet turned out to be. It is RUGGED. Wifey insisted on getting the cover that holds thr stylus. Can't complain. I will bet money the battery dies before I break it, which I am known to do. I'm tough on my tools. I think I've met my match. Solid 10/10. If you're a MAN. Buy this tablet.

I got the 6GB RAM WiFi only version. It took Amazon a whopping 3 weeks to ship to Alaska - for Prime member! That aside, first impression of tablet were very positive. However, I've now had it for a few weeks, and am less excited about the tablet. Many nice ideas, and nice execution on some, but not so much on others: the tablet is quite heavy. The separate ruggedizing case it comes with is a hard plastic shell. It is very slick and slippery, hard plastic, without rubberizing, texture or ribbing that helps holding the tapered (!) slick shape. Not easy to hold, and in fact I decided to order a different skin (RAM Mounts). The three physical buttons (Home, Back, Menu) are welcome but are black on black and very hard to see or feel. The fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button does not work for me most of the time (even though same type on my XCover 6 Pro works well for me). Maybe because of orientation or proximity to case ridge? The S-pen is way too small to be useful, especially when using gloves! It is too small, short, and the pen button cannot be seen (again black on black), nor felt (no relief). And finally, Bixby is just infuriating and difficult to completely deactivate and can't disable or uninstall all. For a while, I could not even figure out how to turn the tablet off without going through the freaking bixby routines. Overall, Bixby and Samsung UI appear more instrusive and annoying than on XCover, where I was able to deactivate it all. I do like to removable/replaceable battery, idea of S-pen (will probably separately buy a larger, older S-pen), and ruggedness (better with a different skin.

This seemed like a great tablet at first. Good specs. Allowed multiple users so we could setup our kids on it and, most important, it was rugged so our kids couldn't easily break it. Unfortunately, within 3 weeks, as we were on a trip, the tablet just stopped charging. We tried multiple charging blocks, different power cables, and even reseated the battery. Nothing helped. When first plugged in, the tablet would sometimes charge a single percent but then it would stop no matter how long it sat charging. The tablet stated it was fast charging but never actually charged. Despite constant efforts to fix it, we cannot get it to charge and will be returning it. It doesn't appear we are the first/only ones with the issue either. Samsung needs to figure out this issue. I would not mind trying it again if they did.

I recently purchased a Can-Am Defender HD 10 Limited that came loaded with options. The one option missing that Polaris offers is the Ride Command. After researching the options I decided to purchase the Galaxy 4 along with a dash mount. I have paired it with two off-road mapping programs and it gives me the options I was looking for. So far I am very pleased with the durability and clarity of the picture. The GPS works without the internet which is important for my application.

I use this tablet to operate my outdoor endless pool with the fit@home app. Other tablets stop working in sub-freezing weather or rain. This one works great in extreme weather. It has a solid build and excellent wifi. Ideal for outdoor use in all weather.
