For our first use, we slowly brought it up to 500F. It worked great to grill our steaks and vegetables. Next time we will bring it up to 600F to see if it will cook the food quicker and stay hot longer. Cute knives too!

Great Quality

Great date-night fun. However the Rock will expand as it heats up and will not fit back into the wooden cradle. Had to sand down the sides to get it to fit. But still works great.

Husband loves ordering hot stone dishes when we go to restaurants so really liked the idea of being able to do this at home. Been very fun to cook steaks or fajita vegetables on it. Very easy to use and has great heat distribution. It’s a great size that we can cook enough food for both of us. Also cleans very easily so really glad we tried it.

Quality and durability is great but for me it was hard to cook with because the heat doesnt last long. I bought this to use for date movie nights. I tried cooking thin steaks on it and found that the meat was half cooked. I followed the instructions and let it heat up in the oven for an hr, but it still didn’t last long enough to cook my steaks well done.

Every bite was deliciously hot to the very end, I have never enjoyed a steak more. With this stone, I feel like I can slow down and take the time to savor and enjoy every bite instead of trying to eat it before it gets too cold. It does take time and planning to get the stone hot enough to cook on, but it is worth the effort. The bamboo tray has a stainless steel insert that catches drippings for easier cleanup. The stone is so smooth and polished that food doesn’t stick and cleanup is easy. It stays hot for a long time, simply amazing! Works great a tray to keep food warm too.

Love it! The grandkids came over (ages 10 and 7) and had a blast cooking their own food. I warned them about not touching the rock and it went well…
