First let me start off by saying that we know that this is supposed to be just for animals however I read all of the reviews & saw that others had used this with great results & especially one review that said they had the same thing as my husband & it healed her husbands issue. I was looking for a product like this that had silver & manuka honey together but this was the only one I found so we decided to give it a try. Now my husband was in an accident & broke both legs & shattered both knees so they did surgery & put it screws & plates to fuse his bones back together. Well not long after he started having problems with his feet & lower legs & then he got these horrible ulcers all over his feet & lower legs & they said it was because he was allergic to the metal they used plus he now has poor circulation in his legs. Well we have tried just about everything to heal the ulcers & the only thing that started closing them up was the manuka honey but it had to be 20 UMF which can get quite expensive plus it never really healed them completely. After 11 years of having the ulcers bleeding & hurting on his feet & lower legs this cream has finally healed them completely! This is the only stuff that ever has healed them up completely! He's been putting gauze & wrapping his feet & legs with tape for 11 years & has been so embarrassed to go into public like that but finally he no longer has to wrap his legs & feet up because of this amazing cream that we will praise for the rest of our lives! They definitely need to get this approved for humans to use because it is a Godsend! Just real quick I have had these blisters on the back of my legs for 6 months that wouldn't heal & we didn't even think about me using this cream but the other day after I got him a brand new tube I said babe can we put your cream on my leg & put the bandaid over it just to see if it will help because look what it has done for you! He said ok & he put the cream on my leg & the next day the bandaid fell off because I got these crappy cheap Amazon bandaids don't purchase the Amazon brand fabric bandaids they are horrible! Anyway the bandaid fell off & my blisters that would not heal for over 6 months were almost completely healed in one day with this cream! I swear it is magic in a tube! So if you are wondering if this will work for open sores I promise you it will! Don't hesitate or sleep on it just purchase it & thank me later! Thank you to the company who makes this magical cream you have changed our lives forever!

This stuff really works great. So far we've only used it on our dog & cat. It has treated any skin irritation or abrasion within days.

I must have searched far & wide across the whole of Amazon's product catalogue looking for a product that contained Manuka honey & non-colloidal silver (FYI, colloidal silver is a gimmick in ointments--always look for products that contain "micro-silver" or "nano-silver", and avoid ointments or creams that contain "colloidal silver" for treating open skin sores or wounds) but, for the life of me, could only find products that contained either silver OR Manuka honey, but not BOTH. And then I stumbled across this product marketed as a wound treatment for horses & other animals. Despite that, it was the only product I could find on Amazon that met all of my requirements; you see, my hubby has 3 very large irregular necrotic skin ulcers on his upper thigh with mild exudate, one of which was borderline-infected, all of which just REFUSED to heal. He used surgical iris scissors to cut away as much of the tissue necrosis as he could, but then while one wound would begin to dry out, another would have moderate exudate leaking from the wound, risking mastication. I needed a product that would encourage autolytic debridement of the wound, allowing the body to rid itself of the dead tissue on its own, while also inhibiting any further growth of harmful bacteria that could cause infection. Manuka honey is well known to encourage autolytic debridement of necrotic wounds, while also keeping the wound from drying out and/or potentially masticating, and silver provides a well-known barrier against bacterial growth. While I had no trouble finding products containing either Manuka honey or silver, as I said before, this was the only product I could find that contained both, so I reached out to the manufacturers & decided to give it a try. The seller spoke to the manufacturer & stated that, while they had not personally conducted any studies with their product on humans, they did refer me to other studies that had been peer-reviewed detailing the effects of using Manuka honey on necrotic wounds to encourage autolytic debridement. Satisfied, my hubby began applying this to his wounds twice a day during bandage changes, which consisted of a layer of Silver Honey, followed by a Silver Calcium Alginate bandage under a foam dressing to absorb any excess exudate from the wounds. Within one day the skin ulcers were already showing signs of healing that they had never displayed before. Manuka honey encourages the body to produce plasmin, which is generally cut off in wound repair of large open & necrotic tissue wounds. The plasmin, in turn, begins digesting & dissolving the remaining necrotic tissue, debriding the wound. Once the necrosis has been removed, it encourages the growth of new tissue to fill in the ulcer. By day 5 most of the necrosis was gone across all three wounds; by day 10 the exudate from the worst wound ceased. By day 15, today, all of the necrosis is gone & new, pink tissue has begun filling in the ulcers up to skin-level. This, after more than a month of just continued, progressive worsening of these wounds. While they're not closed yet, they are well on their way to being healed, thank goodness! Is it expensive for what you get? Yes, absolutely it is, especially when you're paying, essentially, $11 per oz. But will it work when all other products have failed? Absolutely, yes. Get this if you have especially bad wounds, or just want to keep this on hand in a wound care kit somewhere-its almost better than Neosporin, on my opinion, despite the higher cost. Either way, for sure, it is a product of either first or last resort--no in-between. I'll swear by this product over as many holy books as necessary 😂 it's JUST THAT GOOD. So, if you have an especially bad wound that just won't heal, definitely get this product --it really will surprise you.

I have a merle American pit and he is always getting into trouble - he's so smart he can't play the normal way and contorts his body into wooden structures, kids playsets, under tables to hide and find his balls and create his own adventures. He runs on the rocks at the beach. Needless to say he gets a lot of scrapes! The latest was the worst as it was on his forehead - knowing how it can progress I attacked it with silver right away and it started to heal. That night? Scratched open. Now it's bigger and has bacteria from his claws. Come time, continued to just use silver liquid which works but dries out the scabs and makes healing a dry itchy endeavor. It started to look slightly angry so I began washing the wound with calendula tea then using silver and topically applying vitamin e which started to work great. But it still felt it was taking a while to heal, probably because he managed to rub it even with the cone on. My last hurrah after buying I'm sure every solution on the planet, was this. And oh. My. God. After one night (I got this yesterday, everyone) the scab started debriding (loosening and exposing healing underlayer) and the underlayer is 80% less red. It has not been 24 hours since I got it yet! It is a paste format so you don't need much! He doesn't lick it, and it stays put through activities and slowly absorbs in. I know it's barely been a full turn of the moon but I can already tell I will always have this in my kit, for humans and dogs alike. I subscribed so I would never forget to have it! Amazing

This is such a hot spot saver for goldens if it’s more on the raw side and then after it heals abit , the spray is nice. I always apply it then went for walks or played so I know he’d ignore it.

Works really good. I use it on myself and my dog and helps to heal wounds within a week or so.
