BETA Adult Large Breed Turkey Dry Dog Food 14kg

Great price, kibble is big so great for my large breeds. Particularly like the different shapes so they have to chew rather than swallow.

Having a large dog means having to buy large amounts of food. So it’s handy for me that I can buy it in 14kg bags and have it delivered to my door, especially when the price is reasonable. Being an all in one is also important for me as my dog has several digestive issues and let’s just say that a large dog with an upset stomach is never a fun thing to have to deal with at 3:30am. Luckily dry food seems to keep him settled and since this is a full meal I don’t need to worry that he’s missing out on vital things. I occasionally mix it with meat, if he’s having a good day, however it’s a safe go to for knowing I can leave this down for him and let him eat it at his leisure without it going off or turning rancid in warm weather. Due to the size of them they are aimed at large breeds as smaller ones may struggle with these. They are probably in the region of a 10 pence piece. This is also a plus for me because they are large flat biscuits, when I step on them in the dark with bare feet, it’s not like standing on Lego. Ideally I’d like not to stand on them at all but sadly my hound has yet to master the art of eating with his mouth shut or not walking round the house eating thinking he’s missing something important going on elsewhere. They blend in to our brown kitchen floor and, well, there’s been several Hail Mary’s in our house to account for the amount of profanity that spews forth from my mouth when I stand on half-eaten dog food. If these get wet they expand and go soggy, which isn’t an issue provided your dog has plenty of water to drink whist eating and also if they get dropped outside, as they wash away in the rain etc. But they are rather unpleasant if stood on with bare feet at 2:30am when going to the fridge as you suddenly jolt wide awake and begin preying that the cold wet thing squelching between your toes is indeed a wet biscuit and not something the cat bought in/up.
