The paper in this journal allows you to write on both sides of a page, without showing. I use fountain pens, dip pens, and it’s lovely to write on. I also push it a little further with light watercolor illustrations. It’s not meant for watercolor as it doesn’t have proper sizing to let the watercolor flow as it would on watercolor paper, but it’s good enough for an illustration using less water. This will make the pages buckle a little, but I don’t mind this. I like that I can have both writing and light painting on a page. I liked the first one so much that I bought two more. (The plain, unlined pages) It has a couple of pages in the beginning that are lined for creating a table of content. Great journal!

I think this is the best quality blank, heavy weight paper notebook on the market. It's almost too nice to draw/write in for fear of messing up. This is a luxury, treat yourself item.

I’ve ordered every different notebook from this company, and this one might be my favorite when it comes to the paper. It’s the perfect middle point between the 150g sketchbook and the 100g A4+, which are slightly too thick and slightly too thin, respectively. Unfortunately this 120g paper only comes in the A5 size, which is a little too small for my tastes. Otherwise, perfect. Paper is very smooth, so if you like tooth to your page, this one is not for you.

I will continue to repurchase this exact notebook everytime the pages get filled. Can't compete with the quality of this notebook!! Even though it is expensive, it last me upwards of a year with consistent use (both sides of the paper).

I’ve bought so many of these notebooks. LEUCHTTURM makes the best notebooks. Rhodia, Moleskine, Clairefontaine are second tier in comparison.

Good journal book construction and lovely paper quality.

Will repeat buy as it beats thin paper journals by a good margin. The A5 size is the near perfect book for ease of use.

I ordered the A5 ruled notebook and got a plain one instead. I thought that might have been a mistake, so I returned it and ordered a ruled one again. I GOT A PLAIN ONE AGAIN, and will be returning it AGAIN. I ordered this because it's the most beautiful, well-made notebook with 100gsm paper that lays flat and *30 lines per page*. I really want to use it. What the hell, Leuchtturm? Get it together!

Über das Skizzenbuch ist nicht viel zu meckern, die übliche Leuchtturm Qualität eben. Bin sehr zufrieden. Bestens für Aquarelle geeignet, wenn man die Seiten nicht unbedingt "flutet".
