Obsidian Journal (Diary, Antique Notebook)

Makes for a perfect book of shadows/magical journal. A beautiful design that is a real surprise for the price. The look and feel is impressive, and it is a definite incentive to return to writing daily. In addition to the look, feel and price I found the following a major plus... No external branding and the inclusion of lined paper instead of plain. The later is a real boon for wobbly scrawlers like myself. Treat yourself to a cultured writing experience.

I’m a massive notebook fanatic and this notebook is absolutely beautiful pages are nice and thick the gold detailing makes it look super expensive even though it’s not very sturdy. I am using mine as a Dungeons & Dragons journal and the pattern on the front is very fitting for this. Definitely one of my favourite books I’ve ever bought 100% worth the money!

Paper quality is oddly great, has weight to it and is really smooth? Pen writes quite well on it. Cover has good weight.

Superb and good value journal; pages open properly so you can write flat, and the paper is good quality so there's little to no bleed through. The journal has a solid, mysterious look about it so be prepared to hoard for ages before you use; I bought it for a specific purpose but would have hesitated to use it for anything less important. That said, they're not expensive as these things go.

Gorgeous journal. Thick paper with that nice vintage hue. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars because the sticky label on the back was difficult to get off and then some of the sticky stuff stayed on the back.

I just can't lie! I've been searching for nearly a whole day for a book with pages like this & theirs not a lot out on the Web to be honest. I found one seller on Etsy in the whole United Kingdom charging nearly triple and the hardcover doesn't even come as close to these beauty's. I mean WOW! I ordered yesterday and at a great price and it arrived today (Thanks Prime) AND THEN upon arrival I bought another, of which I'm expecting tomorrow. So in total I've actually purchased 4. I don't know I'm just in love! And the reason why I didn't want to write a review is because I don't want them to sell out before I can purchase more 😂. But seriously if your looking for a gratitude journal or a journal in general these are the ones 100%! I'm going to be so careful with my handwriting when I write because I will not be ripping a page out. These are NOT NOTE BOOKS ! You cannot possibly be careless in this beauty. Please don't buy all of them. I would like to purchase more lol

Beautiful notebook with high quality paper, I use a cartridge pen and on some paper it goes through and I can't see what is on the other side but this was great. I just used it for notes in class and I feel guilty now it is full! I think it's more of a personal journal, or maybe a good memory book, at least to me.

It was just as beautiful as my other notebooks from this company. A great size for a notebook with a satisfactory amount of pages. The paper is a good quality and the design is really beautiful.

I bought this as a Bible study Journal as the embossing went well with my Bible. It has held up well to daily use. The gilded edges arent flaking off. The binding is hanging in there even thought I have been stuffing other sheets of paper into it. The pages are thick enough to use a felt and have it not show through. The quality is definitely great. It is even prettier than expected and now that I want to get another I am so torn between doing the same again as I love it or switching things up. What I really love about it though is the paper doesn't give me a headache. I am very sensitive to chemicals and normally the smell that comes off paper in cheaper journals makes me feel physically sick. I was scared with the gilding there would be a strong chemical odour but there isn't any. I can have this journal on my desk with no headaches. I am in love.

Shipped quickly. It was in a transparent plastic wrapping, so there is little waste. Beautiful journal! Quality is good overall and paper is thick, not thin, so durability is excellent. Lines are visible and all is printed well. The cover design is intricate and enchanting. Bound well and the price is decent. I enjoy writing in it and highly recommend! Very pleased!

Peter Pauper Press makes amazing journals. This design is below average. The colours are dull and the appearance flat. Nothing like the product images that show 3D embossing. Add poor quality control by the supplier and amazon. My journal arrived damaged with nasty folds and cuts on the front cover. (See images.) Unable to exchange, as suddenly the item is marked “currently unavailable”. A disappointing experience.

Mi è appena arrivato questo diario insieme ad un altro della stessa marca e sono semplicemente stupendi. Il dettaglio in alto ad ogni pagina, davvero grazioso e il bordo delle pagine dorato lo rende decisamente elegante. Ci tengo solo a specificare che le misure della foto non sono propriamente corrette; è un pochino più piccolo, ovvero 21x16. Ha le righe come in foto e il decoro in copertina è in rilievo. Ottimo acquisto!
