good mallet very comfortable in hand when using it with chisel

Stroke it with some fine sandpaper on the shaft, its a bit rough.
It's difficult to wax lyrical about my mallet but it is the first mallet I have ever owned. I usually use the side surface of my hammer but since I got some relatively good chisels I decided to buy a mallet so I wouldn't trash the butt of the chisels. It's fit for purpose and good value for money. The wood seems to me to be very dry so I gave it a few coats of tung oil before use. Satisfactorily performs the roles and duties of a mallet.

A really nice mallet for the price. For me, I want to do a little more finishing but it's a great start. I'm fairly new to traditional woodworking and never have had a proper mallet. It needs a little sanding here and there, but it is, after all, a blunt object. The balance feels pretty good to me. The price is certainly right.

Mazzuolo non pesante ma ben bilanciato, purtroppo l ho usato per un giorno solo perché l ho perso dentro al laboratorio, chissà dove l ho appoggiato, appena salterà fuori vernicero'il manico con una vernice gommata rossa per renderlo più evidente in mezzo a legni e segatura. Acquisto valido.
