SOL Republic Tracks HD with V10 Sound Engine - Grey

Came 2 days earlier than expected, headphones are pretty solid, great bass and treble. worth the the money

Great product, but not right for me as the cans press my ears so hard that I can't stand wearing them for even a few minutes. However, the sound was frilly, well balanced, with exciting bass and crisp highs plus good noise isolation. The headband is truly indestructible but I guess that's what put pressure on my ears since it's extremly elastic and tight.

Perhaps I was expecting too much from these. The last pair of "cans" I owned were a pair of £30 Sonys in the early 90s. They were great and given the advances in tech since then, I was hoping to be blown away. I was, but only at how poor these were. Decent bass I guess but the rest of the music sounds like it's being played in a tunnel. Vocals are particularly poor. Now I think about it, I'm starting to wonder whether they're faulty. Not sure what the obsession is with bass these day. I know the big risk / Cardinal sin with headphones is that they're tinny, but we seem to have gone overboard with reproducing overly bassy headphones at the expense of the rest of the music. I've tried running these in for about 10 hours in the hope that they'd settle but they're still pretty poor. Glad I only paid £20-ish for them. Any more and i'd be furious. Two stars awarded because they look nice, seem well made and are very comfortable. But that's about it. Oh, and they leak like Julian Assange! Steer clear.

The headphones are amazing for the price just as good as beats if not better. Sound quality is very good.

Great looking headphones but terrible sound. The sound equalisation is all wrong, too much bass/mid and little to no treble. You can't hear much high end at all which makes the clarity poor. The vocals are muffled as well. All you get is bass heavy sound and its hard to make sense of the instruments playing. I plugged in a pair of headphones that came free with my mobile phone, and it sounds leagues apart. I have no idea why there are so many good reviews of these headphones as the pair i have are poor. What a waste of money.

Muy buen producto si eres medianamente exigente con tu forma de escuchar música. La calidad del sonido es muy buena, alcanza buenos graves sin caer en el exceso y los medios son claros. Los recomiendo debido a su simplicidad, el precio accesible y la calidad de sonido. Pros: Excelente relación de precio / calidad de sonido, duraderos, personalizables, modulares, cuentan con micrófono y control de volúmen (verificar compatibilidad) Contras: La estructura es rígida, no son compactos para viajar (si los llevas guardados será mejor que los desarmes), pueden ser incómodos debido a la posición de los auriculares (la forma de la banda hace que estén completamente paralelos, lo que pudiera ser molesto para tus orejas)

Estos cascos sol republic son absolutamente increibles de verdad, los mejores cascos que he tenido sin duda a parte de que la banda es totalmente indestructible. Muy buenos de verdad, merece la pena.

Nachdem mir bei einem günstigen AKG K619 der Bügel gebrochen ist, suchte ich nach Ersatz. Habe mir sowohl den Tracks Air als auch den Tracks HD V10 bestellt, da beide herunter gesetzt waren. Der schlechtere sollte zurück geschickt werden. Also Kopfhörer ausgepackt, zusammengebaut und erst einmal eine Stunde "einspielen" lassen. Für die Vergleichbarkeit habe ich beide im Kabelbetrieb betrieben. Einsatzgebiet: Musik (v.a. Rock, Metal, Jazz, Funk) hören und E-Bass über Preamp und Kopfhörerverstärker spielen. Kurz und knapp: im Vergleich zur A2-Sound-Engine Klingt die hier verbaute V10-Engine deutlich räumlicher und weniger basslastig. Gesang und Gitarren sind präsent, der Bassbereich deutlich differenzierter. Die A2-Engine im Tracks Air erachte ich als unbrauchbar, der Tracks HD klingt nach Hifi, ist aber ausreichend ausgewogen. Die Tracks HD sind recht leicht, sitzen gut und drücken nicht. Insgesamt haben beide Sol Republic Tracks-Hörer einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Speziell die Metallabdeckung der Tracks HD fühlt sich wertig an. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Muchos medios y graves, pocos agudos, los que te rodean lo escuchan demasiado, al cabo de un tiempo (1hora) te duelen las orejas, vamos que un bluff

Nachdem ich die vielen positiven Bewertungen gelesen habe, habe ich förmlich ein Ohrenschmauß erwartet - bekommen habe ich einen Lautsprecher mit schön klaren Höhen, präzisen klaren Bässen - und leider etwas schwächelnden Mitten... Klanglich würde ich gerne den Vergleich mit 3D Filmen einbringen (etwas Abstrakt) bei denen man nicht wie im echten Leben eine durchgehende Tiefe sieht sondern wie einzelnde wenige Ebenen/Schichten ohne einen gleichmäßigen Übergang... Vergleichbar mit dem Ton der SOL - man hört die Höhen - dann überspitzt erstmal nichts - und dann kommen die Bässe und Tiefen. -> Man muss dazu sagen dass ich zuhause von meiner Canton Anlage verwöhnt bin und natürlich etwas zu hart ins Gericht gehe wenn ich sage die Mitten fehlen - aber ich kann sonst jedem nur die Koss Porta Pro empfehlen - kosten einen Bruchteil - haben eine hervorragende Akkustik - sehen aber total dämlich aus und der Nebenmann (z.B. im Zug) hört in etwa gleicher Lautstärke mit wie man selbst ;) für die SOL spreche ich dennoch eine Kaufempfehlung aus - da sie akzeptablen Ton ausgeben (ich bin da etwas anspruchsvoll), gut (Schall)isolieren und sehr gut verarbeitet sind (ausgenommen der etwas klapprige Schalter) und dass man das Kabel bei eventuellem Bruch einfach austauschen kann. Würde gerne 3,5 Sterne geben aber im Zweifel für den Angeklagten ;-) Selbstredend sind für Electro/Minimal/Trance (bzw. Stücke ohne Stimmen) Liebhaber die Kopfhörer Ideal, da hier die Mitten nicht so sehr ins Gewicht fallen (Basslastig). _____________________________ Ergänzung: Nach einer weiteren Woche häufigem hören gebe ich nun doch 4 volle Sterne und bin zufrieden.
