Previous Boss device failed after 10 years of service. (relay fault). This one was an easy replacement.

Solid performance, reliable - just a bit 'functional' looking
Ok, it's 'functional'. Some would say 'ugly'. But it works.This seems to be an improved version (compared to others I have, 8-10 years ago).The dial is more responsive and allows a manual setting of temperature that overides the current, automatic setting. Very handy.This (along with the services of a plumber and some Honeywell valves) created a extra 'office zone' in the house and it works well (at least in testing, ain't been cold enough to test properly).Apart from the 'clunky' design, it does stand on a desk, but the stand is a bit lame and it is NOT 7 day timer (only has 2 on/off periods). But for the price - it works well.
