Let’s remember this packet is under 30 calories. Yes it’s bland and has no taste (wash thoroughly under water in a sieve) so I have mine with quark and garlic from a tube and takes 5 minutes to make. You have to add low cal sauce to make it tasty. It is filling and again the packet is under 30 calories so it’s NOT going to be mistaken for real pasta. I will certainly buy again to get rid of my lockdown weight 😂

I’ve lost 2 stone since eating slim pasta. They have a weird fishy smell when you first open them so I rinse them thoroughly and then boil in salted water which completely removes the smell. The texture is rubbery but I quite like that. Add whatever sauce you want and it’s a great low calorie dinner.

On first use of this product, you are hit with a very strange smell when you open the pouch but experience has shown me that you have to rinse them several times and drain well and then it's not too bad. All I do is add salt and pepper and heat for a minute or so in the microwave (depending on the wattage). Possibly drain again then add the sauce of your choice. Yes, they are a bit rubbery but once you get used to the texture, all is good! They are an acquired taste but if you push past this, you have yourself a very low calorie filling alternative to pasta.

the flavour of this pasta was fine but the texture was squeaky, rubbery and fibrous, using either of the two cooking methods recommended on the pack. the fibrous strands would not break down in my mouth and i could not eat it at all. someone else might fare better

Props for creating this product. Expensive for the size of the portion and a strong fishy smell. Made a really nice sauce to go with it so couldnt really taste anything bad/funny but the texture made me want to vomit. Really rubbery, not like halloumi, more like a tire or something. One mouthfull ended in the bin. Shame as had high hopes. If the texture doesnt bother you this would probably be great for you.

Good value, well packed and delivered quickly. For those of you that haven't tried these ... They are awesome, fill you up and makes your brain think you've had proper food! Little warning... They smell bad when you open them, my work colleagues would testify to that! The texture is ... Ummm, unusual shall we say but you soon get over that dollop on some zero% Greek yoghurt and pepper or pesto and Bobs your uncle... Yum!! ( chilli sauce is good too!!)

I bought this to reduce my calorie intake. It comes as a pack of 5 - I would suggest one pack is more than enough to fill a person for a single meal (if you can tolerate it). Each packet is filled with the 'pasta' which is suspended in a liquid (which smells horrible). If you can tolerate the smell and the very distinctive texture of the pasta (think squishy chewy mushroom) then I'm sure it would be a great weight loss food. However despite taking other people's advice and pouring out the liquid and washing the 'pasta' several times, I could still smell the strong fishy odour - but then I do have a sensitive nose. I've given it a three due to the texture and smell - I suspect this is more to do with what the 'pasta' is made from rather than anything to do with the manufacturer. If you're not too fussy with smells and texture then this is great product as it is very filling and with virtually no calories. I'd suggest using a strong sauce which overpowers the underlying taste.
