Works great. Nice and large, plates remove very easy. Cooks evenly across the surface. One challenge is that if you use the timer the grill turns off.

Our George Forman died after 14 years (no joke) of at least weekly use. We are sad! So I did lots of research to find our replacement and I decided on the Green Pan Indoor Grill. We have their pots and pans and LOVE them. I like that they do not use the chemical and horrible for us Non-Stick junk. So when this grill arrived we could not wait to use it. We read all the directions and found it odd that the drip tray was in the back (unlike the front on the Forman) and the unit does not Tilt (ie helping the grease drain). We put 2 regular size hamburger patties on it and watched it work. First thing we noticed is that the Grease does NOT drain well. Not well at all. As I said the unit / cooking plates are Level and not Tilted. And when we opened the lid to check on the burgers, the grease from the top plate dripped / splattered all over our counter. NOT GOOD. The burgers cooked nicely and tasted great. But the Greasy mess was not something we had been expecting or used to with our Forman. Tonight we tried again... again it was 90% lean burgers. But AGAIN it was a Greasy Mess! It dripped and splattered all over our counter (and the unit itself). Ughhhhh. So very sad it's a Bust. We are cleaning it up and sending it back for a full refund! We are very disappointed! It might work perfectly for non-greasy items likes chicken or pork or sandwiches. BUT NOT for Burgers or Steaks or Bacon! Sad!

All the negative reviews....ignor them. My husband and I are sooooo pleased with the grill. We purchased the waffle cooking plates too. Wonderful, safe nonstick surfaces!!!!

It was fine, until the main feature gave out. Grill plates are no longer nonstick after a few months. If replacements are not affordable, will abandon the product. UPDATE: Contacted manufacturer, confirmed no replacement plates are available. Strange policy. Was told to try to deep clean originals. Also, better for me if food goes on cold, no pre-heat. And grease the plates with grape seed oil while cold. I will keep looking for non-Teflon, nonstick pans and griddles.

I have purchased many of these griddle devices over the years, this one is the heaviest of them and the best performer in the group. It has a tough life, full time duty on a boat and every time it is plugged in, it works flawlessly to help me prepare a meal in the galley or on the sundeck. Very impressed with it.

It works great. The food turns out very good. I really like ceramic non-stick and having control over the heat. I recommend flipping your food at least every 2mins. (Its not a "set it and forget it" grill) One design flaw: If you lift the top grill to flip your food and there is grease on it, the grease does not fall into the drip tray. If the tray was a bit further out, it would have been perfect. When I cook hamburgers, there is always a puddle of geese on the counter. Its easy enough to clean, but slightly annoying.

The review is for the service. We have no idea how the product performs. We ordered the GreenPan Electric Indoor and the product arrived a week later. I’ve been a huge fan for the ceramic pans so I was very excited about this product however, the product was used and not even cleaned up properly. After deciding to wash it and set it up. The grill didn’t turn on! Again nothing against the product (I don’t even know how it performs) but the horrible logistics allowing a product like this to be shipped.

A bit more than we wanted to spend but it works very well.
