My son received this for his 8th birthday and loves it. The lights and sounds definitely add to the game. Board is still quite small and you have to be careful not to knock it as the pegs sometimes fall out. With that in mind I would still recommend this game. Anything to get them off the PlayStation!!!!

Bought this as a Xmas present. Loved this game when I was younger.Easy to put together and set up ready to play. The sound effects make this fun to play.The only issue I have is the little pegs to put into the board to show if you miss or hit your opponent aren’t very tight. They can fall out when your opponent is trying to put one of there’s into the hole. If you accidentally tap the top board some can fall out. Once we realised we would swap a peg for one that was a little tighter and we were ok.Still had fun playing and will continue to play it

The pegs keep falling out or don’t quite fit - if it was £10 then I’d say it was value but not at this price. I’ll be returning

Great price and product, great to play this old favourite game with sound.

To be honest,it’s really poor. I’m sorry,but,you might as well get a couple of wipe clean white boards with grids as it’s no different than doing it all the old fashioned traditional manual way yourself. All it has is some fancy sounds,you say the grid reference and it’s easier for the opponent to say hit or miss rather than pressing the button manually.And then there’s the grid,black background,you can’t read it,so we had to stick white paper and hand written letters all over it.We had a 20yr old electronic battleships,where you programmed in the grids and it was great,but due to age we thought we’d replace it,thinking this would be similar,it really isn’t,the only reason I’ve given it two stars is because my granddaughter likes the noises,otherwise I’m sure it would have been returned.And the instructions,don’t start me on those,every language in the world,but is in such tiny writing,not a chance of reading properly and stupid details on how to press a button to make the sounds....think we can work out pressing a button ourselves as they don’t do anything!Build quality is also poor,flimsy and weak.it’s certainly not going to last 20yrs. 20 weeks will be a challenge.Really is a total disappointment,how it can be Amazon recommended,or be given high customer ratings is beyond me,and the more I write the more I wish I had actually returned it.Save you money or pay a bit more for the other electronic ones if it’s what you want.

In general, it's alright. However, it's not very comfortable for children to place chips in the cells. Some chips require more force to insert, making it difficult for children. Alternatively, using too much force could dislodge other chips.
