You can only do this after emerging from the Alcubierre bubble. You need a fairly flat gravitational field - best to emerge at least 8 AUs out.

is this wi-fi or just for wired connections. We can't see or connect to the access point

Hi Berkshire45, There is no WIFi. Think of it a bit like a socket that plugs into one of your electricity socket then uses the mains wire as a network cable. You then plug another one in and there is effectively a fast high speed network link between the two of them. There are other devices that one plugs in and it boosts your WiFi so called extenders and there are still others that plug in and also act as transmitters for WiFi but this is not deigned to work in this way. So I have one in my lounge and my Amazon TV Box is plugged into this one and the second one I have here in my little study and this then plugs into my Router which does the clever stuff talking to the Internet. This means the Amazon TV Box has access to this hi speed link as if it too was in my study. No WiFi is involved in this at all. I hope this helps you. Yes just plug in additional plugs as required, press pair, then press pair on any of the existing plugs you have job done. I have 4 plugs in my network

Has anyone mixed these 600mbps plugs in a network with 500mbps plugs? Does it work?

I have mixed 600, 500 and 200 and works perfectly. Took longer to pair the 200 model but once paired no problems. I've had everything on at once to prove it all works.
