Light use only!!
I think i expected way to much from these!! I've had a Dremal for sometime and love it. Recently needed a router and I looked for the cheap option. These bits in conjunction with the router attachment fitted the bill, if I was looking for light use. The bits themselves are good quality and have lasted through what I have put them through. The items are good just don't do what I did and expect the same finish and speed as I proper router.

Like a regular router, just smaller
Just add the plunge router and you have a mini-me router. Wonderful bit of kit and beautiful box too.

A Message To Dremel
Now this set is purely not designed (for me as an end user) to utilise with a Dremel 3000. The motor is just not up to the task. The Dremel Plastic Router Guide is also not up to the task. Dremel are fantastic machines, but I wish as a Company they would Design a Quality Much Larger, Sturdy, Purpose Built Clear Perspex Base with Handles that fits the Dremel 4250 etc, so that jobs can be finished and edged without the need for a Professional Large or Hand Held Router. Yes it's designed for the hobby and crafter, but Dremel are missing the point. Many people use Dremel as a Primary tool, specifically Carvers like myself. Please Dremel, design and market a quality, much stronger routing base (like the plunge Router base) but with quality in mind that meets our needs.
