Replaced a socket which had started to melt in an otherwise fine setup. This replacement is good quality and wired straight into the existing wall position.

What I love most about these switches is the fuse is interchangeable. Light switches usually say they're good for 10A and the lighting circuit is rated at 5A(fuse wire)/6A (MCB/RCD/RCBO), and so if you use these switches for LED lights, particular for loft/outside lights, you can put a 1A fuse in the receptacle (which must be the same size as a 13A) and have an extra bit of peace of mind if, for example, lightning struck or something. Robust, plenty of room inside the box and good choice of entry ports. Easy to fit and mount. Doesn’t have a neon so don’t know what brightness rating is for. Fits fuse well but you have to unscrew it to wind the fuse out which can be a bit fiddly.
